Maybe it’s the occasional folksy music, or the kindness and humility of Matt, the homage to the pets, and good ol’ Ed, but occasionally I feel like I’m taken back in time. Andy Griffith would fit right in here. I find this channel so endearing. You achieve what so many others on KZbin try so hard to attain, but can’t: Attention of viewers for all the right reasons. This channel is such a good example that you don’t need contrived excitement, over the top animated gestures, click-bait titles, or any other shameless self-promotion. You do it the right way. And your parents ought to be proud.

Matt, 8 months ago you were innocently going about your business and decided to post a video on youtube…little did you know at the time you were headed down a technology slippery slope of shooting videos of your recoveries, filling up the phone till it wouldn’t work anymore, having to buy more technology in the form of a new and bigger computer, large video monitor, video editing software, wind noise reduction microphone add-ons, and now a DRONE!! What can I say? There’s no recovery from this predicament, so keep up the great work you do and keep the videos coming! Love your laid back style! You live and work in a very beautiful part of the country.

I was in this same situation two weeks ago on a mountain in December, took some doing without a winch. Had to anchor the truck so it wouldn’t flip and roll, while I worked getting the front end facing down hill since going up hill wasn’t a option. Six hours in the dark driving in and around trees, a broken canopy window, and a bread crumb trail of branches for traction, I was finally free. That was a learning experience
