@@joellim6988 The minions went from nice little side characters to a pop-culture behemoth that seemed inescapable for a while in the mid-late 10s which makes them very easy to dislike. Imagine a middle-aged woman’s Facebook post about day drinking with a minion going like this 🤭🤫 and you get the image many people have of them. The fact that two separate movies whose title characters’ only coherent line is “banana” made over a billion dollars is gonna rub some people the wrong way

Heitor Pereira is an incredible composer and deserves for you to listen to his soundtracks in isolation. Next time you have some chores or homework to do, slap in one of his soundtracks and just enjoy it. You’ll notice things like recurring rhythms and instruments to signify certain characters or moments that you might not even acknowledge otherwise.

I listened to the full thing,and the 20 sec intro thats not in this video actually starts off with the main Despicable Me theme,then the strings and sounds start playing and we hear the vocals. Shows how he is stealing the spotlight during this segment of the movie
