Hi. Very nice video and very interesting to hear a foreigner's point of view. Just a small correction. The current at the wall socket is alternating here too (not direct) but it is more dangerous because it is 240V and not 110V as in the US. The same applies to all European countries I've been to. Cheers.

Sherri, I really enjoyed this video. You’ve covered a lot of things that haven’t heard from anyone else. For instance I didn’t know about the emergency pharmacy and that the owner must be a pharmacist. I was thinking today why the health care costs are cheaper in Greece and Europe in general, as opposed to USA. I believe that government regulations in Greece may stipulate how much sugar/liter companies can include in bottled drinks and also regulate types of preservatives can be used in foods. This regulation will not only keep people healthier but mitigate the cost of health care in the long run. Greetings from north Atlantic US.

Thank you for your comment....the answer to cheaper health care and meds is Socialised Medicine. It makes health care available to everyone. Those who can accord it often also have private insurance...Yes, the Gov't, and the EU have much stricter controls of additives, chemicals and preservatives, which certainly makes our food healthier. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, of course you are right...but I have lived here 38 years, and this year is uncharacteristically warm for this time of the year. I am enjoying it...but it portends a huge change in local climates.
