How do I get the Barel Disguise? I own the Original Barrel Disguise; where you do it while standing, no colision, no prompt,, no moving and you don't sway with the ship. I also don't see the option to buy the other ones in the General Clothing store like you showed, was it a season 13 only thing, was it removed or something?

The disguise concept seems fairly decent and practical. Was a little surprised when the traps and hiding spots aboard ships got delayed last minute but hopefully things work out for the better 🙏🏿

Literally every source I can find also says you equip the disguises in your vanity chest, but there’s no disguises tab for me? Also I can’t open the disguises wheel while crouched. Is this because I’m on Xbox?

What I'm interested in is the recently teased mimic darts for the blowpipe. According to the patch notes, it vaguely hints at its purpose but my guess is it lets players disguise as other players, like the TF2 Spy, making infiltration of a ship easier and generally creating confusion. Hopefully will allow the mimicking player to copy the voicechat usage icon so the real pirate can't just use voicechat to make the icon show who's talking. Could be funny if it lets us mimic other enemies. Mimic an Ashen Lord, lol.

You cannot be picked up as a Disguise. The other pirate will see the prompt to pick you up as if you were a real Chest, but when they try to it will force you from your Disguise.

whats the point if you cant be picked up? hiding on an island and getting picked up and taken onto a ship would be better than having to sneakily get on a ship and hoping they dont remember what loot theyve collected. everything ive seen from this update so far seems absolutely pointless and has no real purpose other than to troll new players except for the harpoon gun which is decent just ruined by the fact you cant change weapons on another ship anymore which is also a terrible change

so? This isn’t an authentic pirate game. It has some pirate qualities, but it also has living skeletons. Go play something else if you want an authentic pirate game. Don’t get mad when they don’t make it like one
