Would you ever want to see Disney ever try this marketing stunt at Disneyland with any other franchise???

Well, I don't want it to be just one franchise, but rather, Disney's entire television arm. Such attractions would include a Disney Channel-themed stage dedicated to a rotating cycle of the network's music, a 20-acre play area akin to the "Winnie the Pooh" franchise, and an Indian cuisine stand in Epcot that has to do with Baljeet's cultures from "Phineas & Ferb".

I wish Disney could make a section of Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom and Future World in Epcot that is based on The Brave Little Toaster. There could be attractions that teach guests about the inner workings of appliances or some rides that are based on the climax of The Brave Little Toaster movies (especially the high speed chase scenes of The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue, that would be amazing). Maybe even a parade or live stage show featuring the Brave Little Toaster characters could happen during the day. Given how irrelevant The Brave Little Toaster is, I doubt Disney could ever bring it back now, but maybe sometime in the distant future they could?

They actually cancelled the plans because of Jim Henson's death.

This sounds like a 4 year old's fanfiction. That's likes saying that they'll destroy Cinderella or Snow White's castle and replace it with the Arendale castle.

1:54 Having been born just before the opening of the Matterhorn, and living 3 blocks away as a child, The biggest change in the Disney company that brought it to what it is today was the naming of Michael Eisner as CEO. With his corporate background he brought a stagnant Disney into one that grew in all aspects for more than I think they every would have with out him. Corporate Branding, movie Branding, company acquisitions like Pixar are taking Disney to the next level. Not to mention Parks going Global reaching a global audience, I remember seeing peoples from all over the world coming to see "This Happy Place".

It got cancelled because it was a garbage idea. Painting the Matterhorn Bobsleds green. That's like Turing ToT orange with pipes for Guardians of the Galaxy. Oh. Wait a minute...

It was actually cancelled due to Jim Henson's death, and the cancelation of the Disney/Henson merger.

Somehow I missed this video when it came out, but I love it. You should consider doing more "what might have been" videos as specials in the future!
@haileyshannon75487 ай бұрын
They were also going to make a Roger Rabbit/ToonTown land, but the only sign (no pun intended) that still exists is a Maroon Studios billboard with Roger, Jessica and Baby Herman on it. The irony also being Disney now owns the Bartman now, too!

Muppet Mondays. One day a week for a year. I think that would be the only way it might work. People go to Disneyland to see Mickey so maybe if it was once a week people would go to see regular Disneyland and then stay an extra day to see the muppets

A very interesting topic, I didn't realize that was a planned thing, or at least on the drawing board so to speak.
@smartpuppy6496 жыл бұрын
The reason it didn't happen was because it was supposed to be part of the Disney/Henson merger. But, Jim Henson passed away right before the merger was completed, and thus was canceled.

Yeah, it wasn't an April Fools, this was really what they were considering!!! Glad they never went ahead with it! But I would like to see more Muppet Attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios, maybe they could have the Muppets take over the Great Movie Ride, for a seasonal overlay???
