How Do 2 Lordhair Thin Skin Hair Systems with Different Base Thicknesses Compare?

Everyone really appreciates this gentleman demoing these units. Very helpful real world comparison. He looks completely different and especially when no one would ever even guess his hair is not growing out of his head when out in public 😊. I showed this video to my stylist and she wants this gentleman to order the UTS but in a light density to really get the perfect density.

Thanks for your comments, Frank. We'd like to think no one would notice his hair system either. But just to add that both these hair systems are only available in a medium-light density. If someone wanted a lighter density for these models then they'd have to order a custom-made hair system.

Looks great. But they don’t graduate the hairlines enough in my opinion. I’m a 20 year hair wearer. The hairline is way too thick on both units. Doesn’t look realistic.

John, when you shower, do the water seeps through the system? How often do you wash your hair?

@@MrNate858 Hey Nathan thanks for asking. I start from the back where the adhesive is most intact and work my way to the front. Pantene products work the best. I do a light but vigorous good shampoo and then the conditioner. While the conditioner is still on, I use a wide plastic bristle brush to comb out the tangles while still in the shower then rinse fully. Less hair loss and it styles great. I wash my hair twice a week BTW. This last hair system has lasted for almost 3/12 months because of the care I give it. Lordhair is the best!

That’s one of my biggest concerns with these is the front hair line you can feel the lip on the front when you your fingers go through your hair on the front

I haven't ordered from LordHair yet but from the reviews and product out there lately I'm definitely going with them next time around. I used ghost bond platinum I apply it to my scalp, not on the base at all. Some people use tape to secure the edge in case they don't have enough glue in the right areas the tape will catch it. Honestly the tape takes away from the longevity to me. Another trick I learned when removing the glue from the base, use all in one shampoo conditioner in semi hot water, put the unit in and let soak for about 5 to 10 minutes, the soap will make the glue solid and you can pretty much peel it off like a face mask. Saves me so much time. Use alcohol last to make sure all residue is gone and make sure the base is dry before reapplying to scalp 😊

You don't want to use just any shampoo. Most of them have chemicals that dry out the hair. You need to find one that's specially designed for hair systems.

Lord Hair please can you start making a stock poly skin at 90% density? His system looks great but it's far too dense. Most guys over 30 don't have hair this thick

Custom systems take so long to make and I do think there’s a growing number of guys wanting lighter density units.. Jake Kent even did a recent video on his lighter density unit. I’ve found 80-90% density skin systems from other websites so perhaps I’ll order stock from elsewhere, and custom from lord hair 🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyway you’re rocking yours well

@@Sam-t7b4w late to party, lol! Try curtis at " hair by my experience " he has stock .03 poly systems ( Inviskin) approx 70% density graduated hairline, with a slight widow's peak. If you're looking for a something thicker he also has a .05 base (duraskin)

Yes, tape around the sides and glue at the front is what many prefer to do. Glue all over is definitely a good option too though. It may just be a case of experimenting and seeing what works best for you/your hair system.

I just recently my first unit. Poly unit. I see some units where they use the glue to the full unit. Id rather use the glue. So obviously you can shower with it on right. On the other hand im so disappointed they dont last long. I used to use synthetic and they lasted a year with good care. I think now i should have gone that way again. Any suggestions and points about wesring it. Lile shower etc? Thanks

In terms of lifespan, then it really depends on the type of poly hair system. You get bases with different thicknesses and thick bases will last much longer than thin ones. Then, there is also the hair ventilation method (the way the hair is attached to the base) to consider as some hair ventilation methods are more secure than others. Surprise as a long term wear you have not gravitated toward an injection syste. Hairs are individually punched with the cuticles all going the same way almost no tangles. Generally with a injected system the hair lays flat but they now have a method to increase lyft. Is this product his head and shoulders about anything I've tried

Hi Nathan. I wear one of the units in the video, been wearing them for a few years and the water does not penetrate at all. Impermeable except if you have a small tear in the system by being aggressive with brushing or removal.

Hey Nathan - I do wash my hair with the unit on. The polly doesn't really have any way to get water onto your scalp. There are other bases such as lace ones that get your scalp wet. When I do the maintenance portion I was my scalp really thoroughly and also use a face scrub on it to ensure the oil is off of my scalp. That is just what I do. Does that make sense?

I think it's too dense. You're awesome for demoing these and giving us great details, but I wish they made the hair with a little less density because very, very few people have thick, full hair like that naturally. It immediately makes you doubt the realness of it.

I’m only commenting because this is the Lord hair channel. The density and color do not match what he would naturally have on his head. Such a straight hairline may also be a bit of a give-away here. LordHair products look amazing, but PLEASE do yourself a favor read some on line reviews. I got excited about L.H’s U-Tube “A Class Hustle. I’m grateful that from the beginning my initial communication with them was so jacked I ended looking up reviews wondering if it was just a one off deal.
