How do chameleons drink water?

50g's and 0-60 in 1/100th of a second, or do they just lick leafs? How about both?! Chameleon's drinking water is something you gotta see.

Compared to other terrarium pets, how difficult are Chameleons to take care of? I raised two Tortoises growing up, and I live in Iowa.

To be completely honest, I'd have to place them as the hardest pet to care for. This little guy goes through 4 gallons of water a day, which is multiple trips to the kitchen sink lol. $20-$30 in food depending on which treats I give him. And he requires a lot of cleaning/maintenance to his enclosure, was very expensive to get everything needed for that, and he also wants to hang out for 2 hours a day or so on my microphone. So very needy. I would not recommend unless you REALLY want to do it. If you do, get a panther chameleon from a breeder, not a store. The store ones are all sick with MBD and have broken bones, no matter which store I've gone to, same story everywhere.

So now I'm doing my best to actually deserve yalls support :) Spent a ridiculous amount of time learning the filming, voicing, editing process so that I could adequately show everyone my animals lol. It's fun, so I'm very thankful. Turns out I like being creative.

got a friend durying a job in wich was living in a....ammm "spital personalhaus"?....he has one but a giant one it "sized" 20ty inches or else....case is it mostly shown all green but "several greens" 'twin an olive and a "some kind of oleum green"...it was very shy nor like yours here...or perhapps it were "demi hibernated" or something like that coz winter and there was very short rooms for each ppl and the doors opening every time...case is we back sometime from playing machines on a mrpikwik you know bar-bar-bar ( hehe ) and the dude suddenly was turned on black...a amm "weird black"?....but the entire body was black usually it have "some kind of diffused "zebra's" or like" but not this time...the guy said it was normal because the temperature but the poor camaleon started to "breath wrong" and move it's head back....then this guy Gabriel yes resulted alarmed...he trade to took it in his hands but the camaleon refused a bit annoyed or even ANGRY....then Gabriel subbmited the camaleon an trying to a open it's mouth what him reached dont know how he seemed to scratched its gullet or something....a really giant spider black colourded too was sticked all into it's mouth haha...was all an experience...

How do they absorb water through their skin if they're not amphibious things like frogs they absorb water through their skin because they're amphibious not a reptile chameleons are classified as reptiles
