Ah yes, Sony still thinks you are using the D-Pad as the main way for controlling your games. And in reality, the throttle-like triggers on the Series X's controller are so much better than pressure sensitive tic-tac buttons on the PS5. Also, the PS5's shape means it cannot sit on its side, the safer position for any console, without having to use a plastic chair. While the series X, just sits on its side like a dream because its a box, and not a super sleek but impractical design that is the PS5. In addition, the PS5's controllers cannot be used on a PC without having to set it up via bluetooth, while the X's controllers work like a dream. You just plug it into your usb via the micro usb port on the top of the controller. And, the PS5's batteries cannot be removed, while the X controller can swap standard AA and rechargeable AA without any issue. The biggest issue with the PS5, however, is that rather than having one massive highly reliable vent on the top, it has tons of tiny vents that get clogged with lint and dust over time, causing it to overheat within a few years. That was the problem with the XBOX 360, the Playstation 2, 3, 4, and the 4 PRO, and Microsoft fixed the overheating problem simply by putting one big vent on top of all their successors for any game console they made. And why does Sony still think that XO□∆ is a good setup for what would normally be ABXY. It may be much more universal, but just saying "Press the B button" is less confusing than "Press O, or the circle button, or the red button." Finally, Sony thinks its OK to have the PS5 controller still have a big button that takes up so much of the controller, that it serves more as a drink coaster than an input, while Microsoft just makes one, small, but easily identifiable X in the middle of the controller, and doesn't bother with making the controller look super sleek and futuristic that ends up being $70 rather than $60. *_(Sorry for the rant, you can clearly see I am biased to XBOX being the best and saying the PS5 is the worst, but I did name a few points that really make the PS5 simply not as good in the long run as the Series X. That does not make the PS5 worse as a system, if you like the Playstation, go for it, but if you are looking for something that in the end will be better than the PS5, the XBOX Series X has more bang for your buck.)_* Edit: You may not be able to buy both at the moment due to scalpers, but when the time finally comes, you chose what you think is best for you. You shouldn't be listening to me, or hating on me for downplaying Sony, just keep it in mind that this will be a purchase that will really matter, as it is something you will enjoy playing on for 5 years or more. Pick what you prefer, or what you are loyal to, and learn from the mistakes that either one may or may not bring upon you.

I used to be strictly a PS guy and have both but absolute fell in love with the XB Remotes. I cant go back to PS remotes for real gaming not to mention the XB flows better through its menus, settings and game layouts. I have found in my experience, I rarely power up the PS anymore. Also the fast majority of my fellow gamers and friends "I" play with (23 of the 28 in my circle) have for the most part all moved to XB so thats another reason.

Now maybe because Im definitely growing more and more partial to my Xbox, the Series X seems to be better overall than the PS5. Not like night vs day better but there are things abput it that just draw me to it more than the PS..(Controller Layout, Navigating through the Menu, Game Titles, Graphics, Game Pass and playing remote via Phone or PC into the Xbox through the app is definitely easier and better performing than PS Remote Play.

Depends what you are looking for out of the system. Series X has VRR and a 40Gbps bandwidth out of the box where PS5 has no VRR (as of now) and 32GBps bandwidth. PS5 has all the awesome exclusives, but Series X has Gamepass (which now includes EA Access). Always having both systems, I've use my Xbox as primary for gaming and PS for exclusives. Both are great in their own way.

Mark Lomonte makes sense since this will probably be seen by the console crowd who aren’t per say “tech enthusiasts” and people who don’t understand specs and whatnot. Most console players don’t even know what fps/frame rate is. But from the beginning LTT has been a very in depth tech centred channel. I expect to hear everything. I don’t really want the channel to shift into really broad, generalizations, to cater to a greater audience just so more people come on board. I wanted a longer video. Just because they wanted the regular layperson to keep engaged, I don’t think they should have skimmed on the detail the vast majority of their viewer base expects. Hopefully it’s just the one video.

You are correct. However I started gaming around 1990-1993 with Atari and PC xt and moved through all desktop pc's with 486 66hz (strike commander smooth) and played on desktops until recent rise of tomb raider game. After that I switched to Xbox because I like to play by the TV and keyboard plus mouse is incredibly uncomfortable. Another thing is compact character and durability. I had my PC or windows crash or break multiple times not mentioning constant upgrades. Never did my Xbox broke though. Xbox stability portability and affordability made me stay with Xbox. Things that clearly are ml ot a selling point for me is lack for backward compatibility for ps and that all of their best games happened during ps4 era all of their exclusive games are on ps now streaming service hence if you have a PC there's ZERO reasons to buy ps

Buy the one with the best controller in your hand. After owning both, they're superb, although the XBSX supports 1440p and VRR which are solid benefits for me. yep. very underwhelming. some things they stated were borderline false, and they omitted a lot of details. PS5 launched with sackboy, Demon's souls and astrobot and none of them were mentioned. Also they concluded that xbox loads faster? that's a bit misleading, xbox loads backwards compatible games faster, next gen games are usually quite similar with the ps5 being faster but the ps5 exclusives load so much faster than anything else which seems to indicate that even the next gen games aren't loading as fast as they could. nothing was mentioned about the UI, not even the missing features at launch and some early issues that seem to affect this early version on consoles. Overall i am disappointed, poor video.

@@sever9268 Also very misleading. He forgot to mention 3.8ghz on Xbox is only at that speed with multithread turned OFF. It is ACTUALLY 3.6ghz on Xbox with multithread on(which is ps5 is 3.5ghz multithread). Oh Linus.... 🤦‍♂️

I got them both and love them both just as equal! Now on the quest to find a upgrade on my pc but I’m happy for now
