Also remember that you can remove the nozzle head to run it under hot water but, before you pull it, hold onto the stem so that you don't accidently pull on the nozzle base and misalign it. Thank you for this very informative and necessary video! I purchased my BB a few years ago and after contacting to your Customer Service about a problem (my bad) I promised myself that I would only buy from and recommend your company in the future.

Hello! Thanks for this video! My nozzle is misaligned now that I pulled on it and I could hear the gear cogs rubbing. When I restart it, I can hear the gears grinding. The nozzle comes out and goes back in, but it doesn't spray from the nozzle anymore... just comes out the bottom. Any tips? I've contacted Bio Bidet because it's under warranty, but I was hoping you might have a faster tip. Thanks!

Thanks for asking! This is one of the most common issues we see with the BB-2000, and one of the reasons that over the years I've grown to dislike the belt driven nozzle design of the BB-2000 bidet seat. If you give the nozzle a pull when it's out in manual clean mode, and that does not resolve the issue, sadly it is a warranty claim situation... :-/

Can you use natural cleaner/disenfectants on it, like hydrogen peroxide/water mix, or isopropyl alcohol/water mix?

How do you deal with hard water lime and scale that is plugging up the inside of the device lessening water pressure or plugging up the nozzles?

Once buildup has made it's way into your seat it is harder to remedy but the BB-2000 nozzle top can be removed and cleaned. If buildup is blocking up the internal hoses, you could try to open the seat up to detach the hoses and flush them out however, opening your seat up will likely void your warranty so do so at your own risk. Loss of pressure can be caused by more than just buildup as well so it could be an internal part causing pressure loss which would need to be inspected and repaired by the manufacturer.

@@ManyBidets I'm going to take plug off the tank and drain it and fill it full of white vinegar for 24 hours and see if it liquefies it like my coffee pot and my CPAP tank

@@FastED1988 did you ever get any luck with this. kept my nozzle attached to a bag of white vinegar for a few hours before and it didnt really fix anything, was thinking about going whole hog and fill it all with pure white vinegar like you said

I have a BB3000 and the nozzle does not come out at all The motors all were into action and the spray functions selected works but the nozzle just doesn't come forwards (or backwards)… I've tried a hard reset but without success.

Do you mean the BB-2000 or the BB-i3000? There is no BB-3000. The BB-i3000 has been discontinued for almost a decade.

@@ManyBidets Sorry… Mine is a BB1000 . If pull it out physically, it will stay out and spray and then retract but will not extend on its own

Thanks for the useful info! Love the kid at the end! Is that your son? Mini-you for sure! Here’s a weird idea, *I would like to defeat/fool the device into thinking someone is sitting on the seat* I use a wheelchair and I added a thick layer of foam to make this toilet seat work better for my needs, and now, you guessed it the functions don’t work because the BB-2000 thinks nobody is on it. Please help if you can.

Great question! You can put a wet paper towel on the seat sensor to get it to think someone is seated on the unit. There are other seats on the market where you can deactivate the sensor all together as well.

It doesn't work on the remote. But work fine via the side button. Yet I can do the automatic clean with the remote.

@@moog38yearsagoupdated1mont9 Many of the seats we sell act the same way when it comes to cleaning. I believe it's a design choice. It keeps the nozzle from accidentally coming out when the operator does not mean it to.
