Not many people know this, but this function does not actually delete the default cube. It actually removes you from this version of reality, and places you in a version of reality that's exactly the same as your original version, only that in the new version the blender file did not open with a cube.

Alternatively you can toggle edit mode, select all vertices and hit "X" button. This will leave cube object in the outliner but you can just ignore that.

Hello, Could you please make some videos on naval design, as I really would like to create modern warships like the Arleigh Burke class Destroyer. Also, if you would recommend which extensions to use for designing warships and combat aircraft, it would be greatly appreciated! Yes there are a few of modeling tutorials out there but there are no current ones, that cover these subjects in depth, as surely Blender is more than just about character making. Cheers mates!

@@MrMike6519 I have about 10 years of hobby experience with blender. If you are just wanting one or two ships, then the best thing is to pay someone to make it, because the amount of time and effort to learn blender isnt worth it. If you plan on making a lot of models, then the exact thing you want to make is unimportant you just need the concepts of modelling. Look for tutorials about "hard ops" and "hard surface modelling". These will be about making man made structures and vehicles. Ships, cars, motorcycles, space ships all have metallic rivets, metal pipes, etc. Once you know how to make those things, you can apply them to any vehicle you want to make. Here's an example about how to make hard surface curves. this idea can be altered to be cables in a sci fi hallway or cables on a suspension bridge, or cables or pipes somewhere on a ship. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJTNqZukocmqhLs These two examples can be applied to ship design.
