I was a rental dweller forever and when the slumlord wouldn't fix I bought a travel trailer. All the bad rap about trailer parks are about 75% true, but not all. I looked and looked and found a peaceful clean quiet park. I LOVE my home. It's mine and I am very proud of what I have done, at 64. People take for granted they can get a home, or rent a home.

Well, when you come to the states we do have plenty of Casinos on tribal lands and some do have the amenities of an RV park including power, water, dump stations, laundromats and attached convenience stores. Some also don't have all that but do allow you to park in their lots. The pacific northwest tends to have better travel weather whereas places like Montana, Idaho and more inland places will be very icy and snowy. But you love to snowboard so maybe do some of that at Big Sky in Montana! 😊Just fyi. Safe travels young man!

I have camped in rest areas, both in a travel trailer and in a "topper" on the bed of my pickup. No problems what-so-ever (in the U.S.). One annoyance: semi-trucks parking next to you and leaving their engines running all night! Have you thought about heading to eastern Canada? The maritime provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island?
@KevinWaldsAdventures20 сағат бұрын

NYS has Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) campgrounds. Other states may have them. Some are tents only, others are RVs or a mixture. Still others have cabin rentals. Web sites are available for reservations ahead of time. Camping has been a lifelong deal in my family. Pull behind camper camping for 3 summers in a row as a child was definitely most memorable!

What you are saying about the apps and people overcrowding them makes me think about when I travel and look for places to eat . So many people go like sheep and do crazy stuff like put up with lines and overworked and long gone good service because the list in the app says this is the best place to eat. If it's 4-6pm & you're tired & need to rest, I see no problem nicely asking a private business owner if it's alright to stay in their parking lot for one night. Bet most would say OK, if you emphasize that you won't leave a mess & you'll be gone early the next morning. So that their employees & customers have a place to park. I'd say yes - being courteous & considerate makes a difference, agree :)

Hey Kevin, I do most of my camping driving from Idaho to the east coast. Although I do camp and fish in Idaho. Most of the time I will stay the night at a rest stop. BLM LAND is also abundant in Idaho. 14 days same as you in the Great White North 😆. WAL-MART Is an occasional for me when traveling. My camper is almost identical to yours , except it's a NORTHSTAR 8.5 ARROW. Specially made for a short bed. Hangs 2.5 feet of the rear. When camping and fishing, I practice CATCH AND RELEASE. Only difference is that I RELEASE INTO THE GREASE. Nothing better than camping with fish taco's for dinner. Although I don't live in my camper, I spend a good amount of time in it in the sp ring and fall. Summers are just to hot unless I'm hooked to power. If that's the case I would just as well go home for the evening. The bride has my camper set up for me with some Tupperware type things for the pantry. Flour,sugar,salt,pepper, etc. I just purchase my meals and go. Chicken and Spanish Rice are a go to for a couple of good meals. I like your videos and keep them coming. Safe travels.
