Basically, I just made my first $300,000 in crypto trading. years of grinding, pivoting and failure, ideas not working out multiple consecutive times, depression, anxiety... but oh man once I saw the balance was over 300,000 - it really made it clear that all those years were worth it and has paid off. Looking forward to achieving financial freedom soon. And by the way, awesome content, brother!

i'm big on tipping -- don't get tips in my admin office job, but always appreciate and acknowledge the workers serving to keep individuals and communities going in all the big and 'little' ways. And you understand that too. And so kudos to you as you service the 'seniors' and 'shut-ins' in your parish. I use parish deliberately, since it expresses that we ALL can make a difference in the lives of our neighbours and those we encounter daily, and we can do it with kindness and care. You don't need to make a big deal about it (and you don't) but you just need to pay attention to those in our path each day. I don't always live up to the ideals I speak of, but I try to be present and notice those who work and serve others in ways that can go unacknowledged. So thank you for your service Martin. Well done - and stay positive. You are already on the path to better things. Enjoy this gift as you face some increased utility bills in the cold weather you're encountering.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother and your advice kinda hit hard for me, I'd say I'm also a rule follower and always play it safe, I do my little road trips here and there but I tend to save non stop for the future, instead of living in the present and experiencing more of life. I definitely need to find a better balance between those two. Your words of wisdom are very appreciated. On a side note, hearing you talk about your girlfriends in your 20's made me think of how different dating must've been back then, I'd be interested in hearing any funny/interesting stories you might have.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story. I’m glad this video was helpful. ❤️🙏😃 I appreciate your condolences for the loss of my brother. Yes in my day of dating it was so different. No internet or cell phones. And no texting. When you wanted to meet someone you had to go out. Life was so different. I can do a video about dating back in the day ❤️😃🙏 Also yes like you I played it maybe too cautiously 🙂

The Trudeau regime was at one point talking about taxing people's home equity. In other words driving older people from the homes they worked hard to pay off and find comfort in. Ultimately to push them into "care" homes and an early grave. Good advice about travelling. I backpacked around Europe for a year at 23. Great experience. Life changing. I have also backpacked Asia, South America, Mexico and the Carribean in my 40s and 50s. My advice is to not only travel in your youth, but travel while you want to because your wants and needs will change over time :)

I wish I liked coffee, but I’ve just never been able to develop a taste for it! I like the whole “process” of coffee - the smell of it as it’s brewing, the sound of the percolator my folks always used to making their morning fix, the holding of the warm cup and slowly sipping it as you go about your day…….☕ But the taste if it - blech……..😖 😂

I'm ready to move out of our big house. My daughter lives in Albany NY and is expecting her first child, our first grandchild. She has been looking for a larger house. As soon as she finds one and moved in, we plan on selling and buying one in the same school district. It's been a real challenge because the decent houses that come on the market are getting multiple offers and sell for over the asking price.
@themartinblairproject13 күн бұрын
I hope everything works out great for you all. My son and daughter in law are experiencing the exact same thing. They had to offer more than the asking price on a house this week as there were multiple offers as well. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll hear if they got it or not. 😃

My 42 year old advice to 22 year old me: - Invest and max out Roth IRA contributions. No matter how little, do it - learn about personal finance as much as possible (I didn’t until KZbin got me into it and I started reading all the PF books after) in my mid 30s - Travel more internationally - Don’t buy that shiny new mustang until you can afford it
