For those that doesn't know. The sim is just like a credit card. In case you lose the sim, or phone get stolen, you can cancel the old one and apply for a new sim with the same phone number.. I did this before when my sim was badly scratched after inserting it into an old phone of mine. Back to this video, that's why calling the number is a valid move. Because most probably the owner would just reuse his old number into new sim. But maybe the owner didn't know he can do so, or chose to buy a new sim with new number instead.

When my moms phone got stolen, we got her a new sim but out of curiosity I tried to see if I could get her number from the old sim And no luck, old sim would not display a number on the phone settings sadly, probably depends from carrier to carrier tho

Call the sim provider. They can try to contact the owner on your behalf. They cannot give you their info but u can leave your number.. 👌🏼

To my knowledge Dual Sim-readers in iPhones are only available in China. Other iPhones will accept a second sim but it has to be an eSIM.

Oh dude it’s over!! I know it’s sound crazy but, in China if number has 0 dollar on its card and inactive for some time it’s automatically deleted. It’s happen to me my China number cause I lived in outside China and visit China often my I applied for a number in China, cause my number had 0 dollar on its for like two weeek when I go back to China they tell me the number is deleted.
