If you look closely at Tim's character, it's possible he might have been inspired by Rodney Alcala, the real-life serial killer who appeared on an episode of The Dating Game...and won! Alcala was introduced as a "successful photographer ... Between takes you might find him skydiving or motorcycling." The woman in that episode refused to go out with him because she thought he was creepy.

I love the videos where the guys just get to have a good time, especially ones where Adam (who always looks so serious) has fun and lets out his inner goofball. The video reminded me of "The Dating Game" which I remember watching. But the contestants were usually hidden from view.
