How Do I Know Who God Wants Me to Marry?

This is refreshing!!! Become the right person and then marry the person with that is married to Christ Jesus 💕 I get really annoyed by the "God Told Me" people 🙄 They are misleading young people and many people have been led by evil spirits/forces into disastrous relationships. And they say but "God told me" to marry this man/woman. NO HE DID NOT!!! 🤦‍♀️ God does not tell you what man or woman to marry! BUT The Bible gives us guidelines as to what type of a person we should marry (Proverbs 31; 1 Corinthians 7; Mattew 19:12...). It is our choice. Yes it is wise to consult God if you should date a certain person or not. I prayed to the Father if a person was telling the truth and if l should date them. And many times God has revealed to me those people's character where they all of sudden revealed uncontrollable anger or expressed their true feelings about God. And it's always strengths my faith that the Lord answers us when we go to Him.

It was prophesied. Whether or not Joseph thought Mary cheated and left initially, he went back after the angel spoke to him so that God's will would take place.

No, that's not what he meant by that. You should go back and read the whole chapter of 1 Cor 7 to understand the context. Paul was talking about not caring about the things of the world since it's passing away... Paul was initially talking about the cares and concerns that you have as a married person contrary to those you have as a single person.

I think what he meant was that we act like finding a person to marry is like a puzzle or hunting for clues. Of course God already knows who Isaac was going to marry, but that doesn't mean that she was chosen or that she was the only one out of the whole world for him. Think about Abraham who married Sarah, then later married Keturah after Sarah's death.

Abraham servant went out of their land and got to the city and prayed for GOD to allow him to find the right wife... next thing you know "boom" Rebekah pops up and she is a Kindred of Abraham just as Abraham said GOD told him his sons wife would be.... There's over 3 billion people... there is no one person... Studies show it can actually be 85 suitable matches... Rebekkah was in position due to her obedience... Marriage is a choice. There are a plenty of instances where one person felt the other person didn't oblige because marriage is a choice. In that choice, it has to be mutual.

Matthew 19:10-12 Jesus says marriage with another sinful person isn’t worth it. Jesus literally says you are better off staying single and celibate for your entire life. He also acknowledges not many people can handle this truth. I don’t know when it became better for people to remain alone, but sometime between Genesis and Matthew it did.

It is a good thing that this person married the same person those three times because to re marry another person is adultry UNLESS the one you divorced cheated on you, a.k.a. adultry. What about when God makes acceptation to the rule, such as in the case of Hosea when God told him that he would marry a HOOKER? My life is a parallel to this as Jesu has tod me the same thing, and have even had multiple dreams where the Lord has mentioned us together BY NAME in dream interpretations...as the Lord has given me the gift of interpretation. I just add, this video talked about dating, but dating is not in the bible. Betrothal is. Even Jesus is betrothed to us. "Be ye imitator of Christ in everything you do." What if Jesus decided to "break up" with us? That would mean salvation can be lost. The bible says to "love the one you marry." Notice it does not say "Marry the one you love." He will show you who he wants you to be with, and then provide the opportunity to make the decision to change certain things about yourself, and at times, he will even use someone to SAVE SOMEONES ELCES LIFE just by doing something els in YOUR LIFE that seems completely unrelated! This is currently taking place with me. What EXACTLY does it means to "follow Jesus?" That NEEDS to be defined, but I can tell you: Treat the opposite gender with RESPECT. LISTEN when they tell you what THEIR NEEDS are (this is not being selfish, contrary to popular belief) and then fulfill them if you can, or point them in the right direction to have them fulfilled. (This can mean even a BROTHER in Christ getting mydol and "other necessities for a SISTER in Christ, in order to show COMPASSION! This is NOT a sexual issue, for even Jesus healed a lady "with the issue of blood.") Also do WHAT EVER IT TAKES to get past any curses that may be upon you, even if that means "wrestling with an angel." I had to do this for DECADES in "wrestling." I even had to THREATENED JESUS before he stepped in to help me, BUT IT WORKED! Now, I had to take his promise to me ON FAITH and even had a STROKE, TWICE over all of this, but it paid off! Last, when you do finally get past all of this, then BE the person YOU want to BE, even if that means stepping away from anyone in church that hold you back in trying to control you, and go out into "the world" and show YOUR LOVE. Let YOUR LOVE so shine before humans that they may see YOUR good works which glories your Father in heaven." Notice that Jesus did not say to only show your love towards "believers." After all, he showed his forgiveness to a lady CAUGHT IN THE ACT of adultery and even had best friends that were HOOKERS! You never know what HIS PLANS are, for he just may have YOU marry one of those people in order to save her life, and you will end up taking it on FAITH to do other things in YOUR LIFE isn order to make that happen. I highly doubt any church would teach that! Yes we will have trouble in marriage, but it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE filled with shouting matches, but CIVILIZED disagreements! TRUST ME! I HAVE SEEN IT take place with a mentor I used to have!

I Do Not Agree With That, and I don't believe the bible does either. It's just doesn't line up with scripture. God clearly DESIGNED the right spouse for Adam. God chose Rebekah to be Isaac's spouse, God CHOSE the right spouse for Issac. God had to have led Ruth to Boaz, if she would have picked anyone else to commit to, he wouldn't have been in the genealogy of Christ. God chose the right spouse for Boaz. Joseph was GIVEN the ok to take Mary as his spouse. God chose the right spouse for her, not only just to take care of her but to fulfill prophecies in the old testament. It had to be Joseph so they would have to go to Bethlehem for the census. God picked the right spouse. And ultimately God has CHOSEN the right spouse to be Christ's bride, the church. Which is where we get our picture of marriage from in the first place. Jesus said "All that has been GIVEN me will come to me, and whosoever comes to me I will never cast out." In John 6:44 Jesus says "NO ONE CAN COME TO ME UNLESS THE FATHER WHO SENT ME DRAWS HIM. " So no one who believes on Christ would be Jesus's bride unless the Father drew them to Him. Just as Rebekah would have never have been Isaac's bride if God had not drawn her there to the well at the just the right time that Abraham's servant was praying that God would chose a bride for Issac. So if marriage is met to be an example of Christ and His bride, and Christ's bride is given to Him from the Father. Then I think God still chooses the right spouse just as He did for Christ.

Both are equally adulterous in God’s eyes. Just because people (in their own minds) “feel the freedom” to do something, does NOT make it right.

Truly, it is better to not marry, ask the Apostle Paul. If you are a strong Christian male, you are only headed for trouble. Especially if she is American. I promise you, best case scenario, your reward in heaven will be much less. But, if...that is a big "if". If you can find a non carnal (world worshipping) believer equally yoked, that might be good. Otherwise, men, avoid it like the plague
