How do I recognize a defective engine mount and replace it? Mini Cooper S [Manual]

Hello MiniManiacs!
Today I have you another interesting topic and this is about the engine mount or hydromount.
Since the engine mount was changed during the model revision (facelift), BMW/MINI has created a new source of error.
Because the previous engine mounts are as good as unbreakable!
Anyway, in my almost 20 years I have encountered only 1 defective engine mount (PFL).
In this video I would like to show you how to recognize a defective engine mount and how you can then replace it with a new engine mount.
As always, I give you the necessary tools and torques as well as tips and tricks along the way.

Servus! Wie meinst du das? Wenn es darum geht die Drehmomentstütze zu demontieren, dann hat es seinen Grund! Auch wenn der Motor nur gering angehoben wird und die Stütze nicht gelöst wird, können die Gummis einreisen und die Kräfte, die an der Ölwanne ziehen sind ebenfalls nicht förderlich. Für den Augenblick sicherlich machbar aber auf längere Zeit gesehen der nächste Defekt. Zumal es sich hier um eine Arbeit von 2min. handelt. Sascha
