Great tips! What a fresh take on a common topic! I love what you said about taking in all the factors, and figuring out what you need to do that day to get the results. It's like practicing for race day, where you have no choice but to adapt. Trouble with breathing? Slow down. Perfect! 😂

Great video, very motivational for the people that need to try this adventure for mental and physical stability. I thought I was speaking myself. No music, no phone conversations, It's all about my surroundings rather its 3.5 miles or 20 miles. I'm not there to beat anyone, I'm there because I love the adventure. I have learned to heart rate train only and how to pack in the correct nutrition prior and during my adventure. Keep the motivation coming my friend.

Hi, I just found your channel. I am a new runner with asthma. Running in the heat, even in the evenings, is really hard for me so I am very slow or I walk more than I run. So hearing you say it is ok to slow down and it is needed really helps my self-esteem. I have been doubting myself a lot lately. Thank you!

Thank you for your videos! This helped me a lot as a very new runner in my late 20s (2 weeks into this never ran before). I have some short day hiking experience but am otherwise very normal and not extra athletic. Set my PR of 8 miles today. Prior was 4 last week. Took me 2:28. Plenty of quick stops, walking up hills etc. I perhaps shouldn’t have gone that far. But I felt great after doing the 4 mile loop once. Conversational the whole time. Plan to do an ultra at the end of this year if my training progresses as I hope!
