Your loose leaf are going to be the most fresh and intact. Mostly what goes into the tea bags is what they call "sweepings". "Sweepings" are the bits and pieces, dust debris left over after processing the loose leaf.

I once had a waiter charge me for 2 drinks when I changed from a tea to root beer because their brew was too old for my tastes and I couldn’t drink it. He then proceeded to argue with me.

I only drink herbal tea when I don't make It myself. I find it is harder to mess up a chamomile tea versus a Black tea.

Thank you so much for this video! I'll definitely check out the other ones in the description. I've always liked tea, but I've never had loose leaf ones. One of my best friends bought be a whole lot of loose leaf teas for my birthday, and I don't know where to start since I've always stuck to tea bags. Starting out seems really exciting tho!

I've had terrible experiences with ordering tea at cafés, so I usually drink hot chocolate there since I don't like coffee. The worst thing that happened to me was when I ordered jasmine tea that ended up tasting extremely bitter because it was boiled too hot and had probably been steeping way too long... If they have it on the menu they should be able to prepare it correctly, but unfortunately they don't. I'm from Austria btw so this is a problem in many countries I assume 😅

That's one thing that surprised me ; I did not know green tea, black tea, and white tea were from the same tea leaves (lol if you don't like black tea at rolling boil then don't do it man). That's kind of free advice-make it how you like it these are general rules.

Try different kinds of herbal tea. They can also be consumed cold. They're an entirely different product from 'tea-leaf' tea.
