I wrote this before the bout: “Lyoto Machida, Lyoto Machida. We have Karate movies, So tell me who needs ya? You jump and you kick And we’ve seen it before. But what we haven’t seen is A wrestler put you through the floor. You kicked out Randy’s teeth, So Ol’ Chael’s gotta win! You don’t count out a gangster The biggest arms in West Linn. I can’t believe you agreed! You signed it, I fooled ya. When I send you back home, Tell em Chael Sonnen schooled ya.” Didn’t quite work out this way, but I love Chael and wanted him to see it before to give him some swagger.

You beat the unbeatable possible Goat in the UFC at 185 for 24 outta 25 minutes. ( Won by ref stoppage due to ground strikes ) You beat the unbeatable possible Goat in the UFC at 205. ( Won by ref stoppage due to injury. ) You beat the WEC champion at WEC 36. (Won by Unanimous Decision) You've beaten countless other world champions throughout your spectacular and most entertaining career. All while keeping the Bad Guy image, even though, your the nicest guy in the world. And the best part is, you don't even brag about all the nice things you've done behind the curtains as you must keep that Bad Guy imagine to sell out stadiums around the world. We thank you. Chael - I remember where I was when you beat Anderson 4 out of 5 rounds to win the MW Title. I definitely remember that legendary call-out after beating Stann! I remember being the only guy being in an L.A. British pub cheering for The Bad Guy in the #1 contender fight with Bisping. I remember how Anderson had to grab your shorts and give a "questionable" knee (thigh) to the chest (head) in the rematch. And who could ever forget that YOU, and only you, have come the closest to beating Jon fricking Jones...mere seconds away from wining that LHW strap! Loved your pressers, love all the media you have done and will continue to do. I just think the biggest question on everyone's mind is - Would you consider coming out of retirement to rematch Kevin James? It seems like everyone but the ref knew you were just fooling with the tap and James shouldn't have gotten the W on that! Total BS!
