I have a similar outlook to you as regards to enjoying time on one's own, i love just playing my piano and composing music, and sitting down listening to my favourite music (Rachmaninov, Medtner, Ravel, Mahler, Vaughan Williams, Bjork, Swift, Susanne Sundfor and more) and reading (currently reading The Midnight Library - good so far), and i have a small friend group of 4. You have a lovely reading voice, maybe you'll read some more of your writing in another video😊

thank you so much for sharing this! yes time alone is so valuable!!! let me know what you thought of The Midnight Library (I read it a couple years ago and I think I was too hyped up about it, so I was a little disappointed, but I remember it still being good)

maybe I'll share more writing, it's very nerve-racking to share this I have to say😅🌷

@@defilleenfeestudio I finished The Midnight Library, and after a promising start i did find it got a bit repetitive, and it was very obvious where Nora was going to end up, maybe a better book would have been Nora getting out of the Midnight Library half way through and then restarting, as the final few chapters were really terrible, like as soon she put a poster up for piano lessons she was inundated, and very clunky sections like when she went on Facebook and saw the Polar Institute research page, she thought once she had earned enough money she would donate. I hope you are still enjoying a Tree Grows in Brooklyn, i've added that to my book wishlist, i'm going to start Herman Hesse's Siddhartha soon.
