$300 for a lvl 50! Hell, avg price for good ones was $1000s back then lol. Rip good ole days. Maybe VR will be its second coming as far as mmos.

so 15 years ago mmo companies decided rmt is bad and we needed to crack down on it including impacting player to player interactivity with crap like soul binding. today, RMT is good, as long as the mmo company has monopolized it, but we still need soul binding and such because... removing it might impact the profits from RMT. and in addition to that we're going tune our game economies in such a way that necessitate RMT in a more extreme way than when we were just charging a sub and we didn't like RMT. and remember kids, it's not pay2win if big brother mmo company says it's not. it's just convenience! double plus good.

Jason Alatorre hate to breaking this to ya bro, but if anyone is trolling here it's you. i suspect you're just illiterate though.
@Speaker42009 жыл бұрын
Jason Alatorre since i wasn't saying that i think RMT is good. i was saying that RMT is seen as good as long as the company making money from it is the game company making the game. all the stuff in this video that are discussed for their downpoints for example are effectually legitimate in games like guild wars 2 and wow today, becuase anet ncsoft and blizzard activision are the ones making the money off them.

First: WTF do they keep looking down at? A script is my guess. Second: "wow my eyes are so open to what's really going on" HELLO he's king RMT talking here!! This guy trades dozens of accounts everyday! Lastly: I like how the EQ guy when talking about customizable armor can only think of 2 things: Swastikas and titties... what's on his mind?

I hate secondary markets its cus of them like people who sell gold that cause companies like jagex to make trade limits.

This guy is selling fixed market research. Everything he says is a prepaired sales pitch. Guys like this are the brainchildren responsible for the decay of modern MMOs. They convince publishers that the cost of running MMOs to too high to warrent creative risk. Supporting this message is supporting the greed of massive publishers and has nothing to do with actual game designers.
