This explanation does not get down to the crux of the matter. Yes, selective gene expression is the mechanism by which a cell decides what proteins to produce and thus become. But what entity determined and told the cell (by way of unique modifiers on histomes or whatever) what it should become and intelligently so to fit in exactly where it should in its unique x,y,z location in its body? Who or what is the director of the overall construction from zygote to fully formed infant? It’s like the body has some sort of hive mind of its own. I don’t think science has the answer to this... yet. But correct me if I’m wrong.

I have the same question and everywhere I look for answers to it, it’s always glossed over. ATM, I’m very sceptical of the current dogma regarding DNA because of this. It is the foundation of the entire theory and therefore should be very easily answered by those who posit said theory. Yet it is not 👍🏻

I have another doubt sir, is all our cells have same chromosome with same gene then why insulin is produced only in liver and not in any cells
@biologyexams4u
@biologyexams4u Жыл бұрын
It is called as differential expression. Some genes are turned on in some cells and turned off in another depending on the function. Thank you

I feel like this video kind of explains nothing. Feels like the topic was introduced, but not elaborated. What exactly is differential expression of cell types? How does that even work? How does it develop?

Yes... Still we dont know much about how this differential expression of genes works?. Thank you for your thoughts

We have same dna in every cell of our body?? Then why the skin cell don't code for eye's protien???

Hi Hakeem Differential expression is the reason. But how and what actually control this? You are Absolutely right.. I don't know... I think even science dont know exactly... Its all about Almighty's absolute creation... Many questions to be answered...known is a drop and unknown is an ocean ... True Thank you so much :)
