These amps are models of other amps. The amp name has letters that are brighter than others. Those give clues to which amp they're trying to emulate. JaCkMan = JCM AtomiC = Vox AC meteOR = Orange Blue Jay = Blues & Jazz ZoMBie = Mesa Boogie I'm guessing on some of these so don't be too harsh if I'm wrong.

I just bought a Orange Micro Dark and am stoked with the tone, I use my Gt100 as my overdrive/distortion/modulations and I'm getting great tone, will be using it live and in rehearsal without a hesitation. These Joyo amps sound great also and only snobs will diss these amps but ears don't lie. Great for guitarists who don't have big budgets and want quality usable tone. Well done Joyo as this gives the low budget guitarists more options. :)

Joyo and Mooer are killing it. Amazing tone at affordable prices. I'd love to hear how these could be used as a pedal platform. I imagine the AC or BJ would be the best since they're cleaner.
@collinmckinney69522 жыл бұрын
They all have an FX loop for your delay/modulation effects. I think any of them could make a good pedal platform depending on what type of music you're going for. If you're going for a dirty sound you're better off choosing a dirty amp. I think each amp generally has a style of music it's been engineered for. Another thing you could do is have amp modeling in your effects chain and run straight to a PA and just skip the whole amp thing.

When you did the harmonic thing with the Meteor, what is that technique called and how is it done?
@JN-qj9gf4 жыл бұрын
Late reply but I think you mean the pinch harmonic. It's where you just brush the string with the edge your picking hand thumb immediately after the pick (then give it some vibrato). It's like other harmonics in that you have to find the right intervals on the string for it to ring out, but once you know them its pretty easy. Works best with a bridge humbucker.

Garrett Northrup sweet thank you!! I’m looking to step up amps from my boss Katana. I love the variety of sounds I can get from it. But I play a lot of more gritty rock outside of church. (I.e. Hello. Can the BantAmp be used without connection to the speaker output and without connection to the headphone output at the same time, without harming the amplifier? Would the amplifier suffer some kind of damage at the moment or in the long run? I want to output the signal through the amplifier send to an audio interface to record the signal without cabinet emulation so that I can use my custom impulse responses, and at the same time I don't want to have headphones and/or speakers connected for a while, can this be done without damaging the amplifier? For $200, these sound bloody good. I'd have a hard time settling on a particular one. But I'm a bit of a Marshall geek, so maybe the Jackman. I bought a Roland cube because I wanted a little 20 watter that ran off of batteries. No possible way to make it sound as good as the Joyos. Question: What is the bluetooth for?
@vintageantsinmyblood81537 жыл бұрын
Karsten Johansson the Bluetooth is for playing backing tracks or listening to music through your cabinet

Meteor vs micro terror the meteor wins hands down the clean channel is great to have but as far as meteor vs the micro dark on dirt the micro dark wins in a very close race. They both sound great but A/B ING them after recording both I personally dig the overtones the orange dark get.
@RT8047 жыл бұрын
I'd trade my Micro Dark for that Meteor right now. Not having a clean channel gets annoying and the tone knob on the Orange is so damn touchy I feel like I never can find the same tone sometimes. That said, Orange did the R&D work for Joyo and I wouldn't be surprised at all if these are made in the same factory in China.
