My Deluxe Player is Marley at $800 and I was thinking NO WAY would I pay that. I sold it for $450 quickly and the market is now $600-700. Still overpriced for the guitar. I wasn’t going to wait around for that because from what I could tell no one is buying that either

Jake was a real surprise. After Randy I didn't think Ozzy was going to make it. Jake came out swinging. 🤘😎

Strats with the curved edges are sexy and reminiscent of car design in the 50’s and 60’s. They’re colorful and striking. Plenty of Strat players will tell you that a Strat somehow manages to turn the style created in your hands to be heard thru the amp vs humbucking pickups. That being said they are unforgiving. Not only more difficult to play because of the longer scale length but those super low wind pickups hide nothing. Every nuance and every mistake will be heard. If you can sound good on a Strat you can play guitar. My first real guitar was a Strat and I fell in love and played it exclusively for a decade until I could afford to buy more guitars. I really believe I’m a competent player because I spent all those years on my Stratocaster learning all those SRV licks.

I own 5 Les Paul's. I rotate them on a very regular basis. The Rolls Royce of electric guitars.

The harmonic tapping is one of his best skills. I've yet to try any of that other than the into to 'Mean Streets'

I was hoping that this could replace my Suhr Classic S - given that the Ibanez is half the price point of the Suhr. The Ibanez is a great guitar, but the pickups just didn't do it for me in direct comparison to the Suhr. So I have returned it. Anyway, great video.

I love the look of Ibanez RG guitars, but I find the necks too flat. I'm pretty much a Charvel convert and I like Strat necks. I tried out a Jackson recently, but haven't made my mind up yet.

Jake E is so underrated. he was much better than the vast majority of his peers around the time. His work on the Badlands 3 albums is incredible.

Some really cool stuff hee, ahh those were the days. It's a weird one off but the original 3 dudes in Leatherwolf who did the "Street Ready" album, Olivieri, Gayer and Howe. Damn that album was insane back in the day, the "triple axe attack" And a shout for Bruce Bouillet, his stuff on The Scream's debut blew my mind as well. 🤘

Heavy gauge strings are NOT better. Learn how to play and stop thinking your instincts are real. Lighter strings are better. Period.

Zakk Wylde never got the recognition he deserved. He replaced Randy Rhodes & was overshadowed by that, I believe. My opinion is that Zakk is actually better than Randy was.

That Castedosa baritone is so sweet but $7K for a guitar that isn’t older than 40 years old makes it a tough buy.
