It wasn't the first round of nerfs that made Froppy terrible, but rather the adjustments they made to the air beta after the big nerf. They decreased the range and more importantly the width of the aerial beta, but that actually uncovered something pretty big that they haven't fixed yet, that her aerial beta doesn't aim properly and hits to the left of the cursor by like a foot. This used to be okish when it was wider and the extra width let the attack reach into the cursor, but now you have to intentionally misaim your attack to hit with her aerial beta. Fix that and give her back 3 alphas at 1 and she'll be back to being a good, but not busted char.

The only real issue I had with floppy was her damage was way too high s1, I think right now she's the perfect balance. Literally the middle of the roster, just out classed by stronger characters

I think she could use a bit of a buff on her beta but other then that I agree that she's a good character, my beta has been doing 100 damage at lvl 9, it started after this new update that happened a couple days ago, I also noticed Momo's alpha is doing less damage at all lvls but that's not as bad considering her beta and gamma do good damage now

They did nerf her beta range. It used to expand when you upgrade it but it's the same length at all levels now. But that triple beta combo was sick tho

She definitely needs more buffs, whenever I use her after the update a couple days ago I've noticed her alpha and beta do less damage, her beta at lvl 9 has been doing 100 damage instead of the 125 it was doing and her alpha has been doing 73 at lvl 9, I'm not saying they should make her broken or anything but she needs a bit of buffs considering kirishima almost does 200 damage

Not true she still remains the best rapid in terms of escaping and chasing, she can't lose track of anyone she's chasing, she is the hardest to hit because of how long she can stay in the air and it makes it easy for her to hit everybody

Gg, I think they need to make the air beta wider and buff her alpha to 80, and that will be perfect or just make the air beta wider cuz i play on console and it's so hard to to land it so so hard

I main froppy and whats been working for me more often than not is getting Alpha to 4, beta to 4 so they both get 3 charges and decent dmg, but then i max alpha still, yes it does less dmg than the beta but the pay off of having your alpha much more often is far better imo than having the extra 10 or 15 dmg on ground beta, now obviously you want to try and get both maxed, but for the beta to be useful and strong you need your alpha as much as possible. Ive played alot of games with both level builds going beta 9 first and its obviously fine overall but ive had more success maxing alpha first after getting A and B to 4

everytime I play froppy I get alpha to 4 then max beta unless they changed it you should get your 3rd shot at lvl 4. Havent played in a while tho so that might be the case, just not enough player base anymore sadly.

I find it that Froppy is airborne for far too long at times. You might have used your tongue to get closer to the enemy that hasn’t even noticed you but it takes quite a while for you to actually grapple to them compared to other characters like ochako. If her speed to grapple to another player was a bit faster, I believe she would be more solid and you can deal damage faster
