To kill the cray, stab it in the head between the horns. A larger pot with salted fresh water and a rolling boil is preferred before introducing the crayfish. To remove the pooh tube before cooking, break off about 6 inches of antenna and insert thicker end into vent. The inverted spines will remove the tube upon removal.

Shirt on backwards, 5 o'clock shadow, messy hair..that's the real Covid look..love it :-D I work from home so I know that look well lol Wow making water seems like an expensive way to do it. A lot of energy is wasted! I would like to work on a solar power based device for you but I will likely need a CNC! Beautiful spot!! Have you ever brought some scissors and cut some seaweed? I have heard it is one of natures super foods. Perhaps you could do some taste testing and let us know how it tastes? Happy sailing!
@SailingLifeonJupiter3 жыл бұрын
Yeah SF, Normally we would be motoring somewhere and making water at the same time... but occasionally we sit still. There is an AC motor alternative, but then we'd need a generator!... Smaller output units can be run on solar... I should study up a bit more on seaweed...I'm into nutrition.

I hate that too when they throw their heads in your face . Pro tip for crustaceans tear the head off first , then devein the poop canal , cut the tummy membrane with some shears or a Stanley knife . Easier than dealing with the entire thing

Nice one... How many of those engine hours are watermaker related?
@SailingLifeonJupiter3 жыл бұрын
Most of the time if we are motoring somewhere and we will run the watermaker... But occasionally at anchor or under sail we need to run the engine for a couple hours to top up the tanks.
