I had a laminated check list printed up for most of my van travels. Helped a lot, especially when suffering brain freezes and/or under stress. Once took off without doing a complete check and the van via the woodburner nearly burnt down. All because I was in a hurry to get away!

Lovely looking bus and she sounds sweet. Have you considered fitting wheel nut markers to your wheel nuts...? Makes it a lot easier to spot any movement in the wheel nuts themselves. Great videos, keep up the good work mate.

I remember driving 1966 Daimler Fleetlines had one with a periscope that could be used in service, and another which didn't have one. That could only be used on private hires. One was the spare bus, if anything else broke down. CXS556D was the registration. The other one was HRC487D. AA Buses in Ayrshire.

Forgive me for asking but should the exhaust smoke be coming through the rear left tyre? I'm autistic and sometimes assume something's wrong when there isn't.

It’s a really good spot. We had a crack in the exhaust which had now been welded !
