Such a cool and useful video, thank you! I was wondering about how it would go in the sewing machine, good to know you can use a leather needle (if that's what you said?).

Cool! Happy to hear. :) and yes correct, that’s what I meant (and probably mispronounced hahaha, in my latest videos I’ve added subtitles;)

Very inspiring! I have been working on a wearable keyboard. And Iwas trying to attache the mechanics to a wristwarmer. I had a lot of problems with the interfacebetween my metal or plastic parts and the Fabrics or the knitted parts. I think I am trying to print the part and the fabrics together now. Thanks a lot for sharing your experiences!

Awesome video of the different techniques. Thank you for putting this together. You mentioned Chrisia from Superinted at 4:55 (took that from the transcript). I think I misunderstood. Would you be willing to point me to their socials? Thank you

Absolutely excellent and helpful video!!❤ I am getting addicted to your voice now :) BTW also highly recommend to test with conductive TPU, it would work as kind of sensor to collect your movement data etc

Omg conductive TPU??! That sounds like it HAS to be tested and added to a new project. 🤩 Is there a particular garment that you'd love to see?

You're someone that could REAAAAALLY benefit from a Creality CR-30 so you don't have to do so many small squares.

Not sure if you have done this, but how would you approach joining the 3d printed fabrics like dragon scales etc? A lot of cosplay enthusiasts would be eager to know
@VariableSeams

Hi! Depends how you’ve printed them. If you print them in resin (like chain maille) there should be connector pieces included by the 3D model designer to click the scaled chain maille fabrics together - so that would be using the modular method to connect them. Or alternatively, if you 3D print the scales on textile, you’d sew the underlying textiles together with a sewing machine (or in case of very big scales) by hand. ☀️
