I have suffered this for over 10 years, after numerous trips to physiotherapists I diagnosed the problem through research myself. It was exactly as you said I always felt instability and pain at the point where you pointed your finger. I have since been doing my own rehab work consciously working my hips so they are level and stable when I walk. It takes time day by day working slowly to build around the muscles that are dormant. After about 6 weeks I noticed I can now play football pain free. Still have to carry on doing the rehab as it is still weak and can easily return back to through muscle memory. But it is progress and I am delighted that I have been able to fix myself. Never give up hope it is treatable.

I have been suffering for last 15 years.. numerous chiropractic adjustment.. one doctor to the other. nothing keeps it stable. What is the plan that you developed that helped you keep the SI joint stable? Thank you

If it's instability you guys should look into a SI belt

@@shomitdipro Chiropractic adjustment is temporary relief. In fact the force applied to open the joint actually stretches the ligament and will make matters worse over time. Wearing an SI belt helps but is not a cure. The best solution is prolo to repair the ligaments as shown in the video.

I liked seeing the process you go through to diagnose SI joint instability. It was helpful as well to learn that I can do these at home as well.

Very informative video. The body is so crazy at adapting when one muscle component goes out.

Excellent presentation, the information provided was accurate. I would also add that this condition in men is many times caused by a lift and twist motion when carrying heavy objects. I think it may be an occupational hazard for delivery drivers. I suffered for over 20 years with the condition until I discovered prolotherapy. It works.

Find an osteopath that does prolotherapy. Do not go to an allopathic doctor.

If You, like me, has a serious SI joint instability You need clutches to walk and you may not be able to lift your failing leg up. What freaks me out is that physiotherapists and doctors doubt You when You as a male inform them of your symtoms and accordingly will not treat your problem

57, 7 babies, former ultra runner...yup, have had this issue since I was in my mid 20's. Its be come very debilitating in the last 3 yrs. I've had to do my own diagnosis and researching treatment options like I see some other commentators have. The stem cell treatment sounds very promising.
