@@ThisIsntAKZbinrwhy not level bear and stats and don't put anything into boar and bird since they'll get instantly dispelled while bear tanks a fair few dispels and a lot of dmg.

I had this game... I don't remember what exactly happened, but it was something like: we pushed their tower extremely early. We stayed at their core for 1-2 waves, then enemy stacked. They had some new units we weren't prepared for yet, they swept our tower as if it was nothing and then they got our core :D

@@Ulve124 I just had a game, where the opposite happened. In 5 waves we went from "nothing we can do - enemy is at our core" to destroying their tower and their core. It all started with my Dark Ranger stacking. Then my team mate had fairy dragons, which destroyed enemy's casters. My wave spawned once without a hero, and the game ended as it was about to spawn again. The fact that all 3 enemies were massing necros helped the fairies win the game. But don't think too poorly of the enemies - I had no dispel, so them massing necros was a good strat.

"valuable" means it's something you can attach a value (price) to. Invaluable means you can't. We are so used to worthless things having the value zero, e.g. a fixed value, that invaluable came to mean "outside the range of pricing", which leads to the confusion of the inversion.

i wish they changed how the economy system works in this game. something more intuitive or gives more variety in "banking" strats

Honestly economy and unit distribution should be checked. Not having a secondary resource (lumber) that could balance out certain units and upgrades is making the game very stale and linear

i have no idea what your intuition is struggling with, considering the economy here is "you can spend gold to get more gold later on" and "the with tempo gets more gold" like, there's really not much possibility space for making a more straightforward pvp econ

@@hi-i-am-atan because in most games going early econ isnt as detrimental? i realize goldmines are a sensitive topic but "i have no idea" is a bit of stretch if you just stop and think about it for a second. Considering its not just "spend more gold to get more gold later on" if you actually played the game so.... and if you think there isnt much possibility or space for making a more straight forward pvp econ, you need to broaden your horizon lol

Searing arrow seemed the play over stats. PotM never uses all its mana and dies regardless when focused, so its purely a matter of damage in which case arrow gives more and benefits more from Bloodlust.

I'm starting to notice it's almost always orc music on during these games. I don't remember a single time I heard any Human theme, and NE is the second rarest. The way I'm binging these is making the lack of musical variety wear on me lol (but tbf when the battles get bigger it's less of a factor)

@@skycleave4387 it's a fairly standard thing for custom maps to have absolutely zero interaction with a player's race selection, meaning the player can select whatever race they prefer for its music and hud without any sort of effect on the gameplay subsequently, you see a lot of orc in grubby's vids because it's just kinda his default, and doubtlessly there's some emotional attachment to the hud music combo, too

Getting Potm over Panda was a mistake and almost cost you guys the game. Red didn't have enough dmg to prevent blue from stacking with his team and if you had Panda it would've helped or maybe even kill most if not all of blues army as he was massing t1. This map is about syncing with your team. Pandas breath of fire does more damage than Potm Ult and what's even better is its burst while Starfall does almost nothing when there are statues (if they micro properly). Even if you think about the Trueshoot aura it's still not viable enough to prefer Potm over Panda as you can buy Trueshoot for 420 gold (which gives 10% dmg while Potm gives only 5% more dmg). Especially in this situation where blue and purple were massing crap t1. When you guys are pushed and you need to find a way to stack taurens was not the best option. Siege engines stack much better especially against the crappy t1-t2 army they had. If you need damage to kill MG's bears are the better option but this shouldn't be your focus. Just build back with engines and let red stack with you.
