But how to tell that the annulment was invalid and how to appeal it? How many annulment are overturned on appeal? Why is a divorce required to petition for an annulment?

300 Annulments per year before 1979, up to 50,000 per year in the 1990's. Why? What about advising people not to file for a declaration until they have an idea that there was an impediment? Just because things go bad after the marriage does not mean that the marriage is null.

He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. 17And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. Romans 1:28-32: 28And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful: 32who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practise them.
