Elif, one afternoon very tired, I put on Vivaldi’s four seasons and went to lay down for a nap, I was vividly dreaming with the sound of the music dictating my dream, where I was riding my bicycle in a small park and I was amazed by the beautiful yellows of a shimmering tree. I was so transfixed by the color and movement of the leaves and realized that the leaves was moving with the cadence of the music.

My thing is that i listen to music and almost immediately in my mind i associate it with certain geometric figure! But in order for it to trigger the geometric shape in my mind i have to hear the whole verse, not just a single note or a word or two, but the whole verse (usually a long and detailed sentence), then i get the picture of square, triangle, circle etc...and it pops up like a flash, i cannot even 100% tell that i'm "seeing" it because it pops up blurry, like a quick vision and then fades away...but i do know that this is certainly a phywiscal occurence happening in my brain and not only mental one...

When we read poem or story , certain words carry us to far away places visually or fragrance of food or places fill us .if we are diasporic , certain words or things take us back to our ancestors or hometowns.ceratin memories pull us strongly to certain persons or certain words .
