Started put at 1200cal at 106lbs now I'm at 2200 calories only 5lb weight gain and deadlift 215! So glad I found this channel

Here I am a year later. I'm so proud to say I've gone from 1600 to 2100 in the past 8 months and have lost 5 lbs in the process. (Roughly) More importantly, I feel better. I am starting my first mini cut today!

OK... here we go...I am trying to understand reverse dieting. I am a bit confused, and I am trying to figure out what is best for me and my body. So like so many other people I have always been crazy with my training (over training) and have gone into severe caloric deficits on and off for years. I have started and stopped with fitness until now. I changed a lot of things in my life. I got sober and I have gone all in with my health and fitness. I love lifting and weight training. I lift heavy, I track my workouts and reps and sets, I am working on tracking my macros and calories more consistently, but I have been meal prepping very consistently for the past 5 week. I have my meal prep set at about 1600 calories 160g of protein, 160g of carbs., and 32g of fat. I train 6 days a week because I love it and I love the way it makes me feel! I just started listening to your podcast and your videos here on KZbin and I had realized I was recently over-training which has been a pattern for me - I was doing heavy lift / weight training and mma training 6 days a week for about 2 plus hrs a day - I have since decreased my over all activity back to just lifting and cutting out cardio. My long-term goal is to be like seriously fit AF and muscular and lean and athletic. When I eat my meal prep, I get super full and when I was weighing myself - which I am trying to avoid because it is very triggering for me (I had an eating disorder in high school) I was consistently losing about 3 lbs a week or every few weeks. I want to lose fat not muscle and my goal was only about a pound or less a week but now that reverse dieting has been interduce to me due to your podcast I want to know what is the best thing for me to do? Like I said I am al in and I have big long term and short-term goals. I have the discipline and the consistency now I am trying to dial in on what actually works and what is actually beneficial for my bf% and for my muscle gains and over health and fitness. HELP!
