One thing Ive seen a lot lately is selling branded merchandise for specific channels. Two that I see rather frequently is the gear from FilmRiot and the shirts from ForHumanPeoples. Selling gear to help fund videos seems like a good source of revenue, as long as you have a large enough active fanbase to make it worth the investment

KZbin makes it tricky if your going to try to monetize with ads... You have to click on the "monetize with ads" box in KZbin, but to actually make money you ALSO have to set up an adsense account and connect that to your KZbin account.

To people saying they still don't know how KZbinrs make money. Latoya Forever did a really good video on it. The adverts on their videos pay a certain amount of money for every 1000 views the video gets. Then at the end of the month KZbin gets a percentage and whatever is left is for the KZbinr. That's how adverts work not sure about the rest

Yes but that is ONLY if the ad plays for 30 seconds or more. And sometimes and AD never plays on a video you watch so they get nothing. Otherwise nobody gets anything. Professor puppet did the best video on this really. And they payout per view is LOW. I had to get aorund the idea that it wasn't click or views or subscribers that paid out but ad views.

The best website out there imo is *OnlineGetCash .info* there is where people can find really easy ways to make extra cash and you can make a decent amount of money from this. I average around $650 per week which is really good.

Do things you know and are based on what you do everyday. Ideas will come naturally as you get into the motions of filming a few videos. Friends with similar passion will also spark ideas. Try to keep them at a decent length, since you're new.

For those who scan a few comments before watching the entire video... I watched this entire video.... twice! (And I'm not exactly a dummy), and I didn't know any more about (exactly) how to make money with KZbin than before I started. It's like they're saying... Here's how to learn to catch fish: "You must go fishing". Okay... that's true but it's not enough info. The difference with this video is... they've learned how to say, "Go fishing and you'll catch fish", but using a hundred times more words, a lot of pretty teeth, (i.e. smiles) and nice personalities etc but again... no real info. Just sayin'.

Just so you all know you only get paid for your video views IF an ad plays for 30 seconds or more before your video. So if people skip the ads or one doesn't even play you get no money despite getting the view. You must have an ads play for longer than 30 seconds to get money otherwise nobody (no even KZbin) gets anything. And they payout per view is LOW. I had to get around the idea that it wasn't click or views or subscribers that paid out but ad views (or rather plays). Some KZbin "stars" may make money of deals outside KZbin or merch but KZbin itself is very hard to make money on no matter what you may think or these "stars" promote. Professor Hans VonPuppet did the best and most easy to understand video on this really.

Aside from that the only qualifacations needed for "success" is you must look cute, that is if you are running a channel where you are a main focal point. I hate to say but "ugly" people don't get famous or successful KZbin vanity is too rampant in society.
