How Do You Organize Your Master Set in a Binder? Collecting Flesh and Blood TCG

My approach to binders, As a player first collector very close second, I get RF playsets of everything. I use a D-ring with DS Tough as Scales pockets. Keep all the hero’s in a separate section; same for all weapons(ordered by the set they were released in). CF equipment at the front. Sets usually have equipment in multiples of 9. They look great all together. There are usually 3 majestics per class so they fit perfectly on one page. Entire pages of the same card for rares and commons is mind blowing in foil. I can see the change in foil color over the entire page. Each class of cards separate very good and makes it easy to move around if I decide to organize based on class. If I have a NF I put it in upside down to know I need to upgrade it (Dazzling Crescendo looks funny).

Foil play sets are great, and I bet they look good in a binder! For me there is something about having everything in order that makes the collector in me happy, though the way way you describe having heroes, weapons, etc. makes much more sense from the play perspective. I try to have mine set up so that once they are in the binder they don't come out.

Imo, dragon shield inner sleeves make the foil “pop” even better. I put every foil I have in DS sealable inner sleeves. They look amazing in a binder; keeps them from sliding around in the pocket so much.

Most of my DS binders have smaller pockets, with less sliding. Inner sleeves are nice if you have the patience for them! Might be a nice upgrade for me in a future set.

bets looking set, korshem is so undervalued in my opinion (may be a bit bias as this is when i first properly got into the game)

I agree it's the best looking set! It was over printed a lot though, otherwise Korshem would definitely be higher!

This is a really interesting chat. Tough to decide, I've done it different ways for different games. Transformers I did by number and size, but inserted placeholders where the card was the other side. Then id drop a colored sleeve for a card I had but was in a deck. Star Wars Destiny was similar. Some things, I just do boxes. Im maddeningly inconsistent that way lol.

So I really can't decide at the moment how I should collect cards. Because I play and want to collect all cards at the same time. So far I have been doing playsets per set, but this is not maintainable with expensive reprints such as Command and Conquer. I am thinking of going 1's of per set, since I dislike pulling the cards out. But that would mean I would have to go +1 of every card at least. But maybe it is the best way of future proofing it.

I like going the +1 route. It is really nice leaving the binder cards in the binder. For me it makes the collecting and play experience better. You can leave the best copy you have in your binder and not worry about play damage, and you move all your play cards around as much as you like and still be able to look at your collection.

I'm done with MTG & all that money I was throwing at them is going to Flesh & Blood now. It's very confusing with the multiple copies of the same card they have it's a logistical nightmare for collecting but I can tell that this game is one of the best designed & the company cares about it's fans & is working hard to be the best it can be. Just the fact that the blitz decks are so good and balanced MTG couldn't get duel decks right in 30 years

I agree, I'd much rather put money into Flesh and Blood than Magic right now. It is way more fun and reasonable to collect. Wait till you see the Uprising binder for some of the logistical complications!

It'd take a LOT of pages/books, but I wonder if you go 1 card number per column. Some cards have 3 versions, but I don't think any/maybe have 4... You'd end up with a lot of blanks, but the top row would always be aligned with your numbering (Page 1 1-3, Page 2 4-6, etc.). That's the only way my OCD brain can handle this type of decision. I personally have to stop/start each card type (Draconic Illusionist end, Draconic Ninja begin) on a new page, so I have a handful of blanks in my Uprising as it is, but I couldn't imagine putting the first card of a new type in slot 8 or 9, feels wrong!!.

Is that just one card per slot? I'm trying to shift over to binders for my playsets, so I want 3 cards per slot if possible.

This is one card per slot, though you could easily fit three in each slot in this binder. I only do that when I know I will keep using the binder with three cards in a slot, as it stretches the plastic and makes it too loose to go back to holding one card.

I think this game has more potential than anything out there but this multiple copies of a card is so aesthetically unpleasing from a collector's perspective but I understand it's designed that way to make the game better but man I really think they're dropping the ball on this they have some gorgeous artwork this would be a collectors dream even without playing the game but seeing pages of the same art over & over just sucks.

There are ways to fix that, depending on how rigid you are with the order of cards in binders. Would be interesting to see a binder with only one version of each card.

@@mastersetmadness I started opening packs on my channel cause I want to promote them & it's just gorgeous stuff I thought I was getting the same cards I still don't get how this all works but I can tell this game is phenomenal. Why multiples of a card? Has to do with 2 copies each per deck & different cast & pitch cost & power level? Even if that's the case this seems to de a huge design flaw it could still be different cards & art. Like whatever the card is 1 2 3 or left right center. James call us up put us on the payroll we'll get this all fixed

@@omegainvestments2345 The three versions of each card R/Y/B is brilliant for game play, and set design. Different names and art would be more confusing for play, based on how they have designed them. The difference between each is so small that it would feel silly to have a different card. I like the way the have utilized those. From a business standpoint, it is also a third of the art you need to commission.

I have some sets from 20 years ago in much worse binders without sleeves that still look like the day I put them in. I'm not super worried about all the cards worth less than $1.00, which is most of the set.
