Fantastic job. I bought this lesson and you do a great job breaking this down into bite-sized digestible movements. Please, please, please consider doing this for the parting glass and Mo Ghile Mear

I just figured out how to play your amazing grace version without the embellishments, I had no idea the top hand is the left hand. I play trumpet and am trying to figure out the bagpipe and I have tried switching the left hand to top and playing and it’s like starting over almost and is it worth the time relearning or would it be acceptable to just play with my right hand on top? I find your videos so insightful. I hope to learn this, amazing grace, and the battle hymn of the republic before I go and purchase a set of pipes.

Good on ya for learning Amazing Grace Mathew! While the left hand on top and the bag under your left hand is more traditional, I do know and teach players who pipe with the bag under their right arm and use their right hand on the top. If you've been learning that way for a while now, I'd say just stick with it! For more videos, feel free to go to my website and click on "Workshops". Happy piping! www.getbagpipeready.com/

love your lessons & I’ll be buying this workshop, I know it’s practice, but I gave the hardest time getting my bottom fingers in the proper position, consistently ...any tips?

Thanks so much for your comment Kimberley. Can't wait to see you in the workshop! Yes, getting that bottom hand stretched can take time... I do go over a few hand positioning tricks that can help with that in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpSplWufZtlja9E
