I think what eases me the most from this video is knowing that I'm not the only one worrying about it all and consistently crunching those numbers. We'll all be fine guys stay calm

Best bet is to be born wealthy. It is possible to work your way to being comfortable, but it's pretty difficult unless you have a high value skill and will take time. I wonder what percentage of the UK have the basic first step of 'three to six months' expenses saved - I bet it's a low percentage.

Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.

I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

Monica has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.

I use an IFA, apparently I’m good, does not stop me running the numbers myself, but not at bedtime though 😊.

Ha ha, am addicted to tinkering with my spreadsheet too! 5 to 7 more years and it's time to get out of dodge.

Makes sense to rerun the numbers at the moment as there are many contradictory indicators

If you worry now you'll still have a propensity to worry about your finances in the future. Determine the plan which will help reduce these worries the most. I payed off my mortgage but still worried about keeping my job and investing for the future. Life gets in the way and there's always something to worry about financially. To help reduce your concerns heed the advice that is out there and put your plan into action. Stick to your plan but don't forget to review it - perhaps yearly. Get yourself that rainy day fund, pay for that critical illness insurance, etc. Invest in yourself so you have a greater earning potential. All these things can help. Take the most appropriate decisions as they relate to your own particular circumstances.

Yeah! The results of my meditation: I thought of one new opportunity and three more risks - I need to re-run the numbers. 😮

I have a question: my 10 year old niece has a bank account and card. What resources and books are there aimed at her age group on managing money?

Deborah Meaden was recently on the Making Money podcast. She’s written two books on financial education. For 6-9 year olds, 'Why Money Matters'. For older kids/young adults, 'Deborah Meaden Talks Money'.

By having lots of it
@IAmebAdger7 ай бұрын
Doesn't work for most people. One problem is if you have the mind set that allows you to save lots and work hard to earn lots, then that also tends to come with the mind set that makes you worry about losing it. And if you don't have that mind set, then you never were going to worry as long as your bases are covered anyways.

Maybe if you hold it for 20 years, you will lose all your money. If you hold it short term, you will also lose all your money.
