Thank you for your opinion, dear friend, for two reasons: firstly, the open tube causes the part to be exposed to air and decay factors from both the inside and the outside, and it doubles the possibility of damage, and secondly, it has a beautiful aspect, people do not like it. They see a wood with a hole and thirdly, in many cases we need the work to be closed to prevent the entry of wild animals
