Explore how kidneys operate, and how this organ helps filter waste and excess fluid from your blood.
--
After drinking a few glasses of water on a hot day, you might be struck with a sudden ... urge. Behind that feeling are two bean-shaped organs that work as fine-tuned internal sensors. Emma Bryce details how the incredible kidneys balance the amount of fluid in your body, detect waste in your blood, and know when to release the vitamins, minerals, and hormones you need to stay alive.
Lesson by Emma Bryce, animation by Tremendousness.

I wish there were more videos like this one here, raising the awareness for Kidney Disease has never been so important. I have a channel only to talk about kidney disease and I still CANNOT BELIEVE how many people think their kidneys are just there to filter the blood. And most of all, nobody seems to care for the MILLIONS that each year DIE from kidney disease. So, thank you. #kidneyhealth #00kidney

I had too much protein in my urine. I stopped taking NSAIDs and now 3 weeks later my protein level is normal in my urine! Excellent explanation of the kidneys the only problem is you give glory to luck (or should I say Lucifer) give glory to who Christ created all things or face the 2nd death only to be thrown into the eternal lake of fire forever for your sins!

And here I am watching this while having a CKD at age of 26. In my case. Its not really avoidable. My doctor said it was due to autoimmune. My own immune system destroys my kidneys. So even i dont have any vices it doesnt really matter. Sadge. Take care of yours cuz you will really know its worth when you lost it.
