How does a blind man - Make a cup of Tea & chop Vegetables

How does a blind man make a cup off tea and chop vegetables. Well, this is how I do it, and I'm sure there are lots of other ways too. Some people think that being blind means you cant do simple tasks like making yourself a drink and preparing vegetables. However, it is perfectly possible as a blind person to do such things.

Hi Terry I loved this video! As soon as you said I’m going to sharpen my knife I knew you were some type of chef because not too many normal people think about that haha I’m curious if when you bake a cake you have ever used the method of sticking a toothpick in the middle and checking if it comes out cleanly? That’s what I’ve been doing my whole life. I do think more cooking or baking videos would be cool. Perhaps you could also show some British recipes if you’d like. I hope you stay safe!

Hi there. thanks so much for your lovely comment. Haha, Im obsessed about keeping my knives sharp lol. A blunt knife slips so easily, and rather than using the weight of the knife to do the slicing, you end up putting lots of pressure onto it, and then accidents happen :-). Ah, the toothpick - yes, indeed. I used to always use a fine skewer, and as you say, if it comes out sticky/gooey mixture on it, it needs longer in the oven, if it comes out clean its done :-) Sometimes I will do that now, but have to feel for the goo :-), so usually use my fingers for the spring test first, then if Im still not sure, Ill try the skewer :-) .. Happy to do some cooking videos for sure. Just made some millionaires shortbread and rocky road :-) Thanks again for your lovely comment - hope all is safe and well with you Terry
