Well done video Stan, and presented quite honestly. Let me just say that I'm a career professional salesman who for a short time actually sold mutual funds but hated dialing for $'s.. So here I am now after 52 years in sales, being pitched by a financial services person. Truth be told I've never liked insurance, and usually only purchased either auto and/or home owners because they're both required! I've never even had a life policy beyond the term policy issued by my employer. They say a salesman is an easy pitch, but I'm still on the fence with the fact that these types of products and the way they're pitched are in many respects "too good to be true"!. So, now in my mid 70's I still have 90 % of my portfolio in equities! Look forward to getting your books as I evaluate and navigate this journey. Thanks for sharing!

you threw out so much jargon and "quick industry talk", i got lost after a couple of minutes..... if you are gearing your videos to an audience of financial market enthusiasts and people with knowledge of market terms and mechanics, then you're doing great.... but if you're trying to appeal to the average joe with some money in the bank, without a day of reading the wall street journal and doesn't even know what "annuity" means, then the 2 minute mark of your vids will lose this audience.....

If you mean at the end of the guarantee period, usually yes, but policies can vary. You will want to check your contract to see what your options are at the end of the guarantee period.

What if you don't care or want IR, but just want to protect against market crashes? Also how liquid is the FIA?

Nicky - An FIA will protect against market crashes. Most FIAs allow up to 10% withdrawal of the value each and are fully liquid after 7 - 10 years, depending on the surrender schedule of the policy you purchase. Thanks for watching!

How does the AV side of the FIA grow in your example from $100k to $150k? What determines the growth of the left side. I see the right side growth is based off the contracted rate and term.

Mike - the AV (Accumulation Value) side in an FIA grows based on whatever index is chosen. Interest is credited at the end of the index term, usually one year. Thank you for watching!
