Totally agree about the rear end of the S vs the 400 ... it’s leaning perilously close to Civic type R styling insanity 😅... That said, I do like the front end of the 400 a bit more perhaps , but I prefer the one on the Mansory wide body kit even more.

As an S owner, I'm biased.... But though the 400 is a wonderful car, and that noise is something else,, for looks I still prefer the S

Great review! I think you're right, new Pilot Super Sports or 4S should improve ride quality if you're running an old tire, hard tire right now.

Nice review.. Regarding the exhaust situation. In Basildon Essex there is Hayward & Scott, and also Pipecraft who both do custom exhaust fabrication. If you're looking to release some more 'bark' from the Evora, they may be worth a shout..

Plack Exhaust on 2011 NA solved my issue of the car being too quiet. Check it out for the install that way you can see what you are getting into.

400 does sound fantastic, think Lotus finally got the styling right with the GT430. A bit like with Jaguar and the XK the original Evora front intake is a bit old fashioned.

Yes looks about right, which is a hell of a premium for a louder exhaust and 50 odd bhp which you probably only really notice at the top end. Agree, I do prefer the front on the 400, but still. I think the S is the sweetspot.

Very nice video! My opinion: prefer your interior (for sure those recaros). Front end is indeed better on the 400. Your Color is much nicer. Still i'm not getting convinced by the lotus. Chill on those videos :). Lots of content

Well comparing the 2 cars, James's front end is way quicker. Ditch that eu plate on yours & it will turn in so much sweeter. Ha-ha, sorry, no politics!

The only problem with the looks of the S are the front. Too plain and characterless. The GTE was the second attempt and they nailed it. The 400 went to far with the creases. The back is far too busy, the wing is a disaster and the black thing under the front number plate looks like a rubber band. But they seem to have realised their mistakes and the 430 just about hits the sweet spot that they found with the GTE.

The 430 is a fabulous looking thing... It just strikes the balance perfectly between road and race, in the same way a 458 speciale or GT3 does.

Masonry I think but in any case they nailed the front and everything else was right from the beginning. Now I know you have a 400 so my comment might not go down too well but I still think the creases were a poor aesthetic. It is typical for later generations to become more angular. It just looks like lazy design to me born from a lack of confidence in the original design.

I do like your channel and I do think you are a good guy but in my opinion you don't focus enough on what your audience actually is looking for ( I know you ask... but that is not the same thing) even though you are dealing with cars that are an audience favourite- and that is plain by views. I have seen for instance bad comparisons of vehicles, even though you justify your choice- they are still really inappropriate, my guess is that is what came about, but I would say, then just dont make a video that day, because you just lose people FOREVER.And yes, tartan pj's are a worthwhile gimmick for some... but well.. besides being in Scotland... many people think like I do... they are just long knickers and make you feel a wee bit uneasy...we are in the silent majority. Stop it.
