Its pretty obvious the shape wouldn't change that much.You skipped theee most important things; What has he replaced? What has broken so far? How is the transmission? How is the engine running? How is the brake system so far? What are the pros and cons of owning a promaster. All this answers would have been very useful to other people!

I had a 2017 bought brand new ordered from local dealer. Drove fine until cylinder head #2 went at 71k. Then cylinder head #6 at 91k. Finally, transmission went at 104k. I would no recommend a Ram Promaster, or anything Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep or any of those. Avoid the Pentastar 3.6 V6!

what do you think of the transmission of the promaster 1500 2016? mine died with 150 k
