How does an Agile coach help create a highly motivated, self organising team?

This is an interesting interview question because it tackles two elements, self-organisation and motivation.
Many #scrummasters will tell you that they aren't responsible for motivation in a #scrumteam, however, the reality is that you are responsible for creating an environment where others can excel and thrive.
An environment where people are inspired by a common purpose, mission and compelling product goal. It does require motivated and inspired teams to create products and services that delight customers and so organisations will want to know how you will go about ensuring that the team are motivated and inspired.
Self-organising teams are a central pillar in the #scrum canon. The idea that people are autonomous and capable of solving complex problems is a very big draw card for teams as well as organisations.
