bill maher only exists because he arrived at the exact time there was a charisma vacuum in politics. he was "good enough" to fill the slots but by the time other people came along doing the same thing better than him he was already a household name. he was never anyones "favorite" he was just there for long enough for us to accept he was part of the industry.
