@cadenmartin2262 Жыл бұрын
@@arahn466 Computer Science primarily focuses and has a concentration on software and logic combined with analytical and theoretical mathematics to build (and sometimes use those mathematical concepts in data science) logic. On the contrary, many people imply that CE is the bridging point between software and hardware, connecting the two concepts together and really producing something out of it. You'll have a more concentration with lower-level languages i.e., assembly, c++, c, c# that are compiled (translated) on build time straight into binary or machine code that the computer can then interpret and execute. Also, in CE you'll have higher concentrations on things like physics, electricity, and manufacturing the hardware. I would recommend you take a look at your prospective schools' curriculums for CE and CS and really decide from there what you want to do. In short, Computer Science is viewed as a more theoretical philosophy while CE is viewed as a more practical philosophy. Both are sciences, but, again, it really just depends on what you're looking for, abstraction or practicality. Oh, also, (because I'm very intrigued by CS) some of those theoretical math classes might include: calc 1, calc 2, calc 3, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and others.
