I remember when I was growing up my Mom would make gooseberry pie, I loved it!

I was diagnosed with high functioning autism when I was 12. I'm 32 now and I now have my own apartment with help from my family. When I first moved in here I had some issues with the change of environment but my mom and my friends would come over and spend time with me and now it feels normal. My next goal is to try and get my drivers license. My dad taught me how to drive a tractor when I was younger and he said he will teach me how to drive a car now. My mom said that I'm not allowed to leave the city limits if I get my license though but I just want to go to my friends house without walking in the heat or cold.

I find change difficult too. As far as I am aware I don't have Autism although my family have always told me I do have it. Anyway, I used to get really upset at school when things would chance and it still effects me now as an adult. I hope Craig knows that change is just something we to sadly just accept

Penny is one of the dogs. Craig is ok with the dogs but the really upset him when they bark. He doesn’t want them in his room because they used to steal his webkinz when they were puppies 😂. He likes the cats except for the annoying cat Eggs that meows for no reason 😂

From one big sis to another, Steph you are amazing !! Your love for Craig is so strong . You are so blessed to have each other. My Mom was a single mother and so I took care of my little brother a lot while she was working , and always looked out for him . We had that same type of relationship, almost like a second mom to him. Sadly he passed away four years ago to a drug overdose, then my mother passed away one year later . I was so heartbroken to lose them both . When I see your loving relationship with Craig it truly warms my heart and brings back such good memories of my brother . Living in Oskaloosa (west of Pella) I can empathize with not having great public transportation. Des Moines definitely has more to offer in that area. I was wondering if Craig enjoys going to the library? Our son, who has autism and is just 3 years younger than Craig, loves the library. I dont really talk about it but craig definitely helps me get through hard times i was just 20 years old when my father passed away at in 2020 during covid he was 72 but like my parent's split up then my dad passed away like a year later the house like wasnt paid off and my dad didn't have life insurance when he passed and then i was homeless i couldnt stay at my sister's apartment and my other sister was married with 3 kids my moms sister came and got me but basically used me down in Georgia traveled through Kentucky, Tennessee an then Georgia and to get back i was on a plane from 7 am to 3pm 3 planes 2 hour delayover from Brunswick Georgia to Atlanta then to Detroit Michigan to South bend Indiana i lost all my personal belongings during that time some stuff that cant be replaced 3 different times because i had to travel also and my blue nose boxer pitbull i had for like 8 years i now have a forklift license and i plan to go back to school to finish get my ged and join the military for a little while and as i do it im gonna become a electrician to work on planes and ships god bless you you guys are an amazing family ❤🎉😊keep on being u this is craig adventures and keep on having a great day
