One thing that is also a helpful tip is that peacemaker engraving also effects your awakening skill (ATK can you confirm if that's false?). So using your awakening skill in shotgun has more crit rate, and using it in sniper, does more damage when monster is -50%hp. The case is also when you're roaming around using your skills as movement skills. It's a little bit faster switching your guns from and to handgun to get the extra attack speed for when you're moving around the map!

I experienced Ark up to 1385 with a gunslinger in a NA server, it feels best when you know your enemy and can time your attacks as the enemy finishes animations then be ready to position yourself as your enemy is looking for a direction to start the next animation, the pain comes when your timing is off and your rhythm turns into greed because you go from 100% hp to critical condition in 1 slip up.

I absolutely love Gunslinger. She may not be THE highest damage dealing character in the entire game (as of now) but her DPS ceiling can get pretty crazy if you're cracked at using her. I started out playing the game with GS and on top of her high difficulty to use, I play on 203-235 ping. But regardless, her gameplay is just so addicting. Very engaging and a class that makes me enjoy the game a lot more Just remember that classes aren't bad. They become bad if the player piloting that class is bad. I appreciate the updated guide! It really helps out a lot and time to time I learn something new even with the gameplay time I have now. More especially you explaining the part about the complaint parts. I do believe that playing GSlinger helps you "respect" new boss attack patterns or what you need to think about when dealing damage.

For sure theory craft a little bit right now I am running 750 swift and 1100 crit on my gunslinger and I have 90% crit rate with everything added up including debuff etc, dont be afraid to go some extra swift like 450 on neck and a 270 earring it makes the class so much smoother and makes rotations insane, cooldown reduction is a vibe I just recently got full level 7 gems paired with 15% cooldown reduction from swift it is amazing to play.

Honestly it's for the best. If a class is high skill high reward, then it just means anyone who wants to be a top performer is FORCED to play it. Better that they balance the classes to be roughly equal and then it's just dependent on what gameplay you like.

It's damage ceiling is through the roof, it can cancel its casts without even putting the skill on CD, it's not locked in animations and its overall much easier to play. I still love Gunslinger I just wish the payoff for effort/skill was more. A 26s Clip of Saintone saying GS is a good class for hell mode doesn't mean the class is in a good place. If you have to be in the top percentiles of your class to match the dps of UngaBunga classes then there's a clear balance issue.

Does Gunslinger just become 'good' far later than some other classes? Like, it's so bad to the point where my 1370 Deathblade (yes I know Surge is a bit busted atm) without even full legendary gear does more damage than my 1420 Gunslinger. I'm confident I'm not underperforming in terms of my skill rotation or getting hit too much, but rather the numbers just aren't there. Berserkers, Sorcs, Shadowhunters and so on at equivalent item level also just seem to completely dumpster Gunslinger, seeing one being damage MVP without being massively overleveled compared to everyone else is extremely rare.

with the new 7M build it seems like spec gets a lot more valuable since we are using 1 handgun skill and 1 sniper skill more instead of the shotgun ones, since this is the case and we don't need the cd since we have so much abilitys to rotate over do u still recomend nightmare set or should we change for the one that gives attack speed and going more spec instead of swiftness on acessories? that set giving us the attack speed needed for the animation locks and we also get extra dmg from the spec on acessories without wasting swiftness for animation locks. thoughts on it? still nightmare or other sets are being evaluated has good options? Great guide btw.

Not a veteran player, but I think Nightmare set would still be the go to since the 4set gives 20% CDR, 12% atk speed AND move speed. It's also pretty easy to proc considering the plethora of low CD handgun skills. On the other hand the Poem/Salvation set only gives 10% atk speed on the condition that you can maintain the 20 stacks, meaning you must dodge almost everything since GS is squishy as fk--which, granted, can be easily accomplished using the vast mobility skills in the handgun stance. The CDR from nightmare 4-set would also enable faster rotations back into rifle stance. However, I suppose it would be somewhat difficult to fit all those long animation skills into the endless mana window. Comparably, though Poem/Salvation looks like it gives a sustained dmg buff while nightmare gives a speed steroid for rotations. Also, I think it's more punishing if you mess up with Poem/Salvation set since it takes 20 seconds to rebuild stacks if you happen to lose them.

@@LastEmblem With nightmare set GS you never get the endless mana buff, you mantain the mana adiction one. In KR right now basically there are two builds: the new 7m going full crit/spec with poem of salvation or the old one with just a few spare points in spec and the rest into crit/swifness + Nightmare set. And honestly I don't know which one is better. Poem gives less dmg than nightmare but the high spec compensates that, neither the low cd reduction of 0 swiftness or the low attack speed are a problem since you have more dmg skills and poem gives you 10% attack speed, but then you'll move very slow and you will need to always keep up with the support relic buff for mov speed and run two rage runs like I've seen some people do. I think I'll still run the old build, the flow of synergy debuff+self buf+3 dmg skills then repeat with 3 dmg skills of the other weapon seemed very clean to me and I don't think the dmg really pays off for the lack of movement speed. I don't really know what to do tbh.

It is fine but your Life Absorption lasts shorter in that case. GS doesn't have a set DPS rotation so you can tweak around depends on given situations.

I don't really see why 7M would be a problem for us. It's not like you can get lvl 12 skills until 60, and if you have all skillpoints it should be no issue. (i have 390 at lvl 57) Just have the lvl 12 skills be lvl 11 and the other lvl 10. Btw another fix for long animation times are buffs from other classes, like Bards/Wardancer or Deathblades. (and shields ofc) The one thing I don't understand about Peacemaker gunslinger is Handguns synergy and the shotgun. If I run a build with near 100% critchance on rifles, that means I don't need synergy at all for shotguns, since they get 15% crit. So why bother with the synergy at all for those?

been maining GS since global launch, easily my favorite class to play. I find that I am weaving the synergy skills much more often than in this video (I usually refresh after every 2 dps skills, about 4-6 seconds). do you think I should change this habit or is it fine? also, thoughts on using dexterous as main synergy as opposed to spiral tracker? I find myself using 1 tap of dexterous instead of spiral most of the time since it has a longer synergy duration (but as I mentioned before I probably don't need it with how much I'm refreshing the debuff) as a side note, it was really cool to see a lot of the stuff I have been doing just learning on my own (now over 800h) without watching guides being discussed, e.g. cancelling sharpshooter with stance switch, overwhelm on last request for stagger, etc. still learned a lot though, thanks for the video!

If you have enough swift + a support with relic set then cramping 4 skills per rotation is possible, I also find spiral tracker has almost the same synergy time because the timer only decrease after the gun disappeared

It's fine using sinnergy a lot, you lose a bit of your dps but you keep the crit for you party. But be aware to not overuse to the point you are applying more than you need to keep the uptime. The thing a about not using it 100% of the time for self dps is shotguns have the crit from peacemaker, so you can use sinnergy for using the rifle and then changr to sg because it has higher crit naturally

Can someone provide the math behind Large Magazine vs Semi Auto tripods on Target Down? Everytime I go into trixion Semi auto ends up pulling higher numbers both in DPS and overall damage so I've used Semi Auto religiously yet everyone recommends Large Magazine instead (when it doesn't even feel that great without some massive atk speed buffs going on like from bard's Heavenly Tune for instance) so I'm super confused.

My igniter sorc can consistently drop 2x of meteor within arcane torrent stage. Each one is 11 million average damage so, 22 million there. One explosion hits like 6.2 million and one punishing strike is around there too. I've no objection that my class is busted. I have 1377 gunslinger and I feel the same as you do. My two big problems are low damage on individual spells and locked attack animations. For sorc, it takes me the maximum of 1.4 sec to channel the big oof nuke and I can easily run away. (I can cancel that channeling without cd or spacebar or anything. Just click ground to move away).

yeee I thought about the same thing a couple weeks back and I actually made a second gunslinger with a time to hunt build and it was just kind of ehhh you lose out the whole shotgun and even with high swift and CD gems it’s fun yea but still longer CDs and you basically lose your shotgun for crit rate. There are definitely builds that work and do nice damage but I think overall the buffs you get from peacemaker (even good at lvl1) + having Access to another gun (fun gameplay,stagger,destruction) makes peacemaker much more popular. I am going to change my time to hunt GS to peacemaker soon haha

@@EZboyrocks Zerker can. Sorc honestly can't until we get a viable insta cast reflux. Sorc still needs to find a spot where to stand for a bit to cast doomsday/explosion/punishing strike and also make sure it lands on the boss too. Or as igniter you need to make sure that your burst window lands while you're very slow and immobile. Sorcs out dps gunslingers cuz when sorcs hit, it hits hard. But zerker defo can out dps a sorc if sorc needs to look for places where to cast and land their damage a lot. Of course gunslinger is even harder, but damn is it more fun to play. I might roll my GS alt to TTH after the patch though.

DPS training doesn't tell you a whole lot, since GS's execution effects don't proc in Trixion. Additionally, I find it easier to "land every single skill" on GS than positional classes like shock and lone knight, so classes like GS can output numbers similar to training numbers in actual fights, while positional classes tend to lose a bit more. From experience, for argos p3, if I'm hitting almost every skill, then I usually get MVP if not very close to it so I'm fine with the damage.

For the 7% crit not the dark damage reduction lol. If you don't have 12 piece awakening just use Field Boss set for 12% hp.

I love this class and its gameplay but i have over 200ms ping and often cause me guns switch problem.

Man It would be so amazing if deadeye had Quick step instead of that stupid dash kick (forgot the skill name sry) the Quick step skill from slinger is sooooo MUCH cooler Man, i wish deadeye had this skill :( peacekeeper looks amazing too, i mean, her animations in general are so much better imo, i wish i had quick stet on my deadeye.

Gunslinger should do way more damage for the effort it requires. This is a huge mistake developers make, the harder the class the stronger it should be.

Full crit is better damage, but full swiftness is quite comfy. I'm at 500 crit 1100 swiftness and it feels pretty good. I still do loads of damage and I don't have to worry about getting much at all
