Hey Atk first of all keep up the great work , Love your content. I wanted to ask what are the ideal stats of gunslinger should you go higher than 1040 Crit with salvation set ? I was thinking going with 1040 Crit and rest of the points all in spec. Thanks and appreciate all the content you do ^_^

im running 1300+800 salvation set and 18set light of salvation. I'm a little bit on the downside of crit. You will need to go for LWC i assume if u go as low as 1040 crit.

I'm not super good at the game, but I think that I'm decent enough to say that his points are valid, though in the example of vykas, firstly, he uses deatheye and not gunslinger. Secondly, I don't think it's the way to play for gunslinger to try and use every DPS skill in a single cycle, even for TTH gs, it's still barely enough time, and the cool down on skills are high. IMO, and from what I watch from "named" (a youtuber) and other GS main streamer, they don't try to squeeze all the high dps skill in one go, but rather they used the one with longer animation/hard to aim first -> back to pistol to reset utility -> back to either rifle/shotgun and use the shorter animation/easier to aim such as target down, and perfect shot. In fact, in one of the guide that I watch when I first started (forgot his name, and the channel was in korean), he said that you don't really use your high stagger skill as GS unless all the other skills are on CD which happens often enough, the two stagger skill here are the shotgun counter, and the one with wide radius which I forgot the name as of this moment. I know ATK is like really famous for his knowledge in the community, but I don't think this video is a good example. I understand that TTH is easier to build, and does high damage, but again, this vid is not a good representation in my opinion for TTH vs PM gunslinger. For comparison, my GS alt is currently at 1445 ilv with 450 swift and 1430 crit, I can actually squeeze in the 4 major dps (2 from shotgun, and 2 from rifle) after using quick step for closing distance + atk speed, and debuff from hand gun stance in about 10s if not less. One thing that I would like to mention though is that I did get the atk speed buff from bard and her legion gear + runes, but regardless, I think it's absolutely do able in the vykas example that he uses. The one downside is that sometime you get confused and lost track of which stance you're on and end up stood still.

Great GS content ATK! My current main is a 7M GS with 4x3, x2 Adrenaline, x 1 PM. After the balance changes, is it worth dropping x2 Adrenaline for 5x3 with PM3?

Or u just play 7M with salvation(to solve ur loss of attack speed because u dont build swiftness) and go ~1400 crit and 700 spec(might be smodge with LWC cards and overcrit but once u get 18 LoS it starts to feel like a perfect ratio for stats) that is with adrenaline 2 and class 1 it's gonna be around 70% crit with synergy. Also u dont use one of the slowest if not the slowest skill in the game (shotgun rapid fire)

My slinger alt has 1400 crit and around 750 swift, running nightmare. It is not ideal but very fun to play with swift and I do not feel like I am doing that much less damage than crit spec builds. Could be wrong, could be terrible. But as the korean asmongold, zeals, said. If you want to be strong, just whale.

even if you whale $100k, if you have the non-ceiling build, you'll still do bad damage, just like ATK's old build

The spec build with salvation basically has (almost) the same atk spd with much higher dmg on rifle. The CDR from swiftness only matters if you have low CD gems or the boss allows for permanent dps. However, then you most likely run into the mana Regen state of nightmare and lose DPS there. In my parties boss usually phases when everything is on CD, so not much of a downtime anyways.

the counter Last Request in shotgun stance requires lvl 7 to get the speed and distanceclosing to be viable. its too slow and a hassle to use in combat. and the extra skillpoints isnt worth it. why u see every1 runs it at lvl 1. the only times i might need it next to peacekeeper is on valtan if i need to assist on counters.

You kept referring to TTH having execution damage on rifle skills, which is from PM.. so I’m assuming you’re meaning that standard TTH build goes PM 1 or 3

yes PM has the execution damage, and typically TTH builds will also use PM. however, sniper skills have innate execution damage so both need to take that into account anyway

Reliable rifle critting with PM3 is much more important than spec and no crit on rifle with 50% HP boss. If you wanna be effective with low crit and high spec you lose DPS because you are rotating tracker and STILL many times your rifle doesn't crit. After 300h of training and 3.5k hours on my GS the build I enjoy most, pays most and mvps most on current patch is PM3 - 7M - Crit/Swift - Nightware Crit/Spec is boring to play, very punishing and just doesn't worth it to trade the fun of swift with slight damage which translates only on Trixion

full spec is strongest now , swift is just QoL since it much easier but spec is more endgame build and swift better early also cheaper ( u dont nid cd 10 )

@@YurJaeHuyk Not entirely correct, in terms of theoretical DPS Swift TTH is the highest of all Gunslinger builds. Dominion is considered one of the strongest relic sets for a reason. Spec TTH just performs better while bursting down bosses.

you get 10% att speed from salvation along with speed buff from supports, rage and galewinds and other buffs, crit / spec is really fast when things proc ^^ and u still got the massive dmg

i think SRF is obrigatory if u are running CJ with bullet rain another thing that i think is important is to check the mp cost of the filler skills to not lose dps with the nightmare set

big damage makes me laugh xD if you compare peacemaker before patch to time to hunt. its like peace 3.5m vs 7m dps for time to hunt. you cant measure the 50% hp damage though in trixion. but everyclass will do like more dps then you except for shadowhunters that run Demonic they in same range of 3-4m at 1500 ilvl. But mayb your right about the burst windows etc. i thought of respeccing but i think i wont now xD. gunslinger is not a hitmaster class ppl made that up. Its versatile you can make backattack or not if you want. i do a lot more dps with entropy and other tripods then the tight spots. but ye in raids you wont 100% back attacks so i dunno. didnt they like nerf the tight spots tripods anyway?
