Parachuted in darkness, middle of the night, landed, proceeded to kill EVERYBODY in the compound in a few minutes firefight, rescues Jessica AND another Danish man, and extracts them out safely. I think the whole operation took a total of 20-30 minutes. The US asked for video confirmation Jessica was alive, they sent it, soon as we got the video confirmation the Seals were deployed.

She also asked for their names and to see their faces. The Seals never said their names nor showed their faces. They also put her on the first helicopter out of there and stayed back to secure the location and catch the next lift out. To this day she has no idea who they are.

It is not just SEALs but also all of our special operations troops it is just SEALs who usually get more publicity but the Army guys do things you almost never hear about. You might hear about them some but most times you do not hear any recognition that Delta/CAG or whatever you want to call them did something usually just generically said special operations troops.

I served 17 years of active duty in the army. I was airborne. Also served with the 75 Rangers. I had a lot of combat in my days. I met a fee navy seal; they are the real deal. As rangers, we trained together, and sometimes we work together. When an elite unit gets a call for rescue Americans, we take that very seriously.

Sweden here. This is really touching and beautiful in its horrific way. We have nothing like it. We are left to our own devices. However, if there is something I wish for, it is that governments would take care of the people in need in their own countries too. There is a disconnect between the lengths they go to save their own in situations like this and the care provided to those in need at home. It is truly beautiful to see such dedication. I just wish the same fervor could be applied to saving lives at home with life-saving healthcare and assistance for those captive to other struggles.

Our veterans sacrifice more than most would appreciate. People also come from all over the world for our fantastic Doctors and Healthcare professionals. No it us not universal Healthcare. NOTHING is for free. Most people who come to America for health care already have universal health care in their home countries

When the Seal Team Six was sent to kill Osama they were told its most likely a suicide mission but to still kill him. The Seals dropped, killed everybody in Osama’s compound, killed Osama, and every single Seal made it back home. Our government was shocked and also lowkey scared cuz they were like “uh…maybe…maybe we trained them too well…”

As the daughter of a disabled veteran, when I hear "a certain politician" call POWs losers and say off-camera that anyone who volunteers is an idiot while hugging a flag for the camera, or all these keyboard warriors who say only people who are too stupid and poor for "real" jobs join the military, it makes me wish my dad had never taught me how to fight, because holding back my fist is so difficult.
